Hello

I would like to adress this matter here, so all players can take a vote or at least leave a comment about it.

Since we recently started hosting Ulduar25 raids again, after almost 4 years since the last Ulduar25 happend, I noticed that the fragments needed for the Legendary Weapon Val'anyr are dropping less or not dropping at all.
We did 4 full runs in the last month and we got total of 6 fragments (3 from the first run and 1 for each others), with Yogg that has 100% drop rate on them.
Ulduar has 15 bosses in total, so in my opinion, we should have at least 3 or 4 drops x run ( considering HM on some bosses, due to increased drop rate on fragments by default), but we get only 1, from the last boss...

Can you please consider increasing the drop rate as much as the shards in ICC?

Yes to that, more than enough Valanyrs were transferred from servers with for fun Ulduar scripts and increased drop chance, at least give us the chance to get it as well.

Also suggestion you made earlier can be reconsidered also to put some low chance on Ulduar 10man at least on Hard Modes and some like 20-40% on Yogg. At this moment there is only Icc farm and RS from Lt guild, giving some attention to Ulduar can make things different as many players like the raid and we might get some old players coming back as we post raids on discord.
TW had only 2 valanyrs obtained if am not misstaken and we had many transfered here(idk if they are donated or how they obtained it on previous server).
Would be really nice if u take this in considerstion and make some changes so we can have somerhing different then ICC and RS.

I think it's reasonable suggestion. Having 0 fragments in 3 full Ulduar runs, apart from Yogg, is diabolical. Why can't fragments have same drop rate like ICC shards? For example ICC nm bosses give ~33% drop chance for shards and same can be added for normal modes and bosses without hard modes in Ulduar. Similarly ICC hc bosses give ~67% drop chance for shards and same can be added for hard modes in Ulduar.
Since there is only one Ulduar run per week in which person can get fragments and 2 ICC runs where person can get shards (normal and heroic) and both instances have fairly similar number of bosses, this will make sure that person can get Valyanir in similar amount of weeks like a person could get Shadowmourne and it will give possibility to players here to get their healing legendary weapon as well.
Note: Some drop rates on this server are already increased, like those for mounts (Onyxia, Fiery Warhorse, Ashes of A'lar, etc.), while some are decreased (Invinicible). Therefore, changing drop rates for fragments is not really a radical idea.

Has anyone tested this at the PTR? The result from 4 runs can be attributed to bad RNG as the drop rates were not decreased. The average could in fact be double of what you perceived. The vaules in the drop table appear to be blizzlike which are supposed to be much lower than ICC shards:

If you still want it increased, it should be clear that drop chance would become higher than blizzlike. Which is still understandable given the difficulty of organizing Ulduar25 but players tend to be less agreeable with such changes. And it would still be up for debate how exactly it should be changed and by how much. Putting it on par with ICC shards would be over 4x rates which seems excessive.

We did 2 more more raids i think since the post was created and we got total of 3 shards from both runs which is still kinda low if we take in consideration that yogg is 100% drop which means we got only 1 shard from other bosses( razor, xt, hodir done on HM).

It doesnt have to be the same as ICC shards that would be also unfair but to increase it slightly on other bosses and maybe like 50% if boss is done on Hard Mode(only on 25man). People will push for more HMs and that can attract more player to come and do Ulduar as some are chasing HM achivw there and will be beneficial for everyone.

This is my current progress in Ulduar25 since I play my main char in 2015. Some of the numbers might be bugged, but I am sure I have killed Yogg around 11 times, so that data is accurate. In total I have done only 3 Ulduar25 runs (full or almost full clears) on which I haven't been on fragments, but for all the others, I collected them. My current progress is 19 fragments collected.
That, in my opinion, it shows how often the fragments drop and is not much.
Years ago I tested it on PTR as well, did full clear and got 2x fragmest from one run, one from Ayria and one from Yogg

If my math from the drop tables is correct the average should be 2.25 per full clear. Not exactly sure about HM but I think around 3 per clear. Your results are a bit lower but still possible due to RNG so I think it's working as intended. From what I gather, you still think the intended values should be increased.

Alright then, so it will take at least 10/12 full runs to get the 30 fragments required, if we have 2 or 3 per run (which is a lot, considering lately raids we made).
How many ICC25 are required to get 50 sfs? I would say less than 10/11 full runs. Do the math there, with less bosses to kill.
Therockk suggested to increase the drop of fragmenst as much as the shadowfrost shards, that's what I ask for. If not, well, we'll play it like this, since we've aways did, I guess..

My suggestion was to at least increase drop on Hard Modes in 25man difficulty(between 30-50%) that will asure at least 3+ fragments per raid with current progress we have Razoscale , XT, and Hodir done on HM maybe we can push for Leviathan. Idk but i think it would be reasonable to have at least 3+ fragments per raid(meaning it will take u up to 10weeks to finish the quest)

Giving like up to 50% chance on Yogg 10man will oncrease ulduar raids even more(i hope so).
Its up to you guys if u wanna give us a push and maybe motivation to keep raiding Ulduar weekly.
