Logic Question

#1 » Post by a1a4a » 10 May 2011 19:15

A man and his son were in an car accident. The man died on the way to the hospital, but the boy was rushed into surgery. The surgeon said "I can't operate, that's my son!" How is this possible?

The boy is a different boy that was in the car and not the son of the man who died.

How would it not be possible anyway? At no time does it state that the man is his Dad. It just shows how much information we assume and gather from such little information given.

It doesn't have to be his real son, maybe adoption by a homosexual couple? The doctor could be his other father. Or it could be the real father which the boy didn't even know.

Just taking all possible solutions into account :P
