NAXX40

heya, i tried naxx 40 yesterday with a group for some Tmog and it seems the bosses are tuned for level 70? im just wondering if this is intended or if naxx is still waiting for re-tune?

Its just hard. If you mean to say you think they are tuned for level 80 (WotLK) then no, lots and lots of abilities in there were essentially unchanged from Naxx40 to wotlk NaxxEZPZ

To clarify, normal trash was 60, but adds spawned by and near bosses were 70.

We will probably need the ID of each one that gets spawned from a script and update their level manually. Everything else should already be around 60 with HP and healing easier compared to our Vanilla phase.

yes, trash was 60 and adds where lvl 71, im not sure if the health values where lvl 80 or not as i didnt do naxx on here at 60. but bosses like patch also seem to be hitting like trains, the hatefull strike was nearly 1 shotting geared 70 tanks.

if naxx is readded to the ptr the same as primal at the moment. then i will go on the ptr to test and report what i can

just trying to find some stuff out now, .npc info command would be usefull to find out boss level :p

Boss level is "boss level" --> every stat that is level based,hit rations for example, is calculated like boss is 3 levels above you

when i used to add custom npc to my server, i needed to give them a level and give them the boss marker. there are boss mobs for level 80, 70 and 60. they still have some kind of level. and yes, it is usuaally 3 levels above. but im trying to find out if these bosses are level 73 or 63. because it looks like they are tuned for level 70 when they should not be

From what I have seen the bosses are level 63 but that only matters for base damage. If there are still scaling issues with those then I would suggest looking at ability damage since those are set by scripts instead of level. And any custom Vanilla scripts would also have to be implemented to our new core if not done yet.
