The pink portal up to Darnassus killed me in a glitch.

I went back through instantly somehow. I think it put me in Darnassus backwards, so I ran back into my own teleport, and died of a quantum singularity at the Rutheran Village end of it.

I'm a bit bitter that you're having this competition.

Well dang to the rule that the character must be registered before level 10 - I started my own ironman a couple months ago before this was listed. Am now level 26 and have complied with all the rules you have stated even to the extent of not having even first aid (no profs whatever). Character name Valle (alliance pally). Can't it be checked that I have complied and be entered?

I'll give you the third lesson for free. If things start going pear-shaped, run away before your pet dies. He'll buy you some valuable time.

ok, guys, I think we need a set of ten "lessons" for newbies...

1. Don't go into caves.
2. If things get hairy, run away (esp if a pet class).
3. Don't go into caves.
4. Pull one at a time, far away from other mobs if they run.
5. Don't go into caves.
6. THERE IS NO RULE SIX!

This looks like fun, will do the regular Ironman Challenge on my newly made Orc Warlock Trahngar (level 1 as of time of making this post). My main is Runein, if (nay when) I succeed at the challenge I'd prefer him get the mount.

Just need to clarify something ... I am currently level 29 and have not used any talent points yet ... are we permitted to use them? I was told by some others that we could but thought to check first before doing so. It isn't clear to me in the rules list.
