No, if it dinged to 60 before cata and you leveled it on cata, it will not be transferred.

Just to advertise a little:

- I got my 3 old WotLK characters "transferred" as of yesterday, by Cover25.
It was done in a day, and the characters are working perfectly - haven't run into any trouble so far and the transfer was made easy with the in-game help provided by the GM's.

IF you read the terms thoroughly and just get everything ready for validation the characters will be up to play in a jiffy, at least that's my experience!

1k gold sounds low if the player have to raise professions all over again
can't you at least give him them proff back to 375 (basic patterns/enchant) learned, then he proceeds by himself ?
Also,

~Shadowmourne WILL NOT be transferred.

How about wielders get Shadow's Edge instead?
