Do you want the Auction House Bot (AH bot) to be enabled?
Re: Do you want the Auction House Bot (AH bot) to be enabled?
It's fun serverish if the prices are lower than the market price so some items should be remove like described previously.
And those 2 votes are not the reason for enabling it like described at the top of page 3.

What happened to this?Roel wrote:Well if half of the community disagrees and the other half agrees then the best thing to do is not enabling or disabling it completely but only enabling it partly.
Also since we know people made multiple accounts to vote for yes, I think it's obvious that you shouldn't enable it.
And it IS fun-serverish because you make available whatever the population doesn't feel like farming or farms it but sells it higher than people think they should. So here comes the AHbot that would sell it maybe for a bit less, and whoever was about to give that money to real players, instead gives it to the AH. Remind me how this helps the economy.
But if that's what you want to do, whatever.
Re: Do you want the Auction House Bot (AH bot) to be enabled?
The poll is 50/50 and it was already close to that at the beginning of the poll. It's fair to assume that a single person voted "Yes" mutliple times but it's also fair to assume that a single person voted "No" multiple times. The AHbot is way more limited than before with way higher prices to compensate for the people who voted "No". And like I said, link any items that are underpriced by AHbot. Players won't buy from AHbot if they see cheaper auctions from other players.
Re: Do you want the Auction House Bot (AH bot) to be enabled?
All I see is the ppl complaining about the ahbot are the ones that are prolly selling the stuff at a high rate from what I have seen most low level mats are to high for a low level to even get a hold of 45g for copper bars is alittle high(the highest the are on retail is 20) and I do agree with the limits I just hope the prices drop soon .
Re: Do you want the Auction House Bot (AH bot) to be enabled?
Those are your assumptions. I never sell stuff high priced so you're totally wrong. Plus the people needing low level mats are 99% of the time 80s alts or 80s themselves that change profession and are too lazy to farm. Lowbies don't really need to buy low mats off the AH because as they level they're simultaneously farming, unlike someone that is being powerleveled for example.
So your argument is invalid.

Re: Do you want the Auction House Bot (AH bot) to be enabled?
No one, which is why you should be led to farm them and sell them for less and so on and on. Having the AHbot, like stated, doesn't help the economy.
Re: Do you want the Auction House Bot (AH bot) to be enabled?
If nobody buys from AHbot then it doesn't harm the economy either >.>
But yes, some items could be too expensive now but it's more important to look at the items that are still too cheap.

Re: Do you want the Auction House Bot (AH bot) to be enabled?
After a quick inspection of AHBot's postings I dare say
- Briarthorn, Swiftthistle, Sungrass are examples of herbs sold too cheap, it competes with player's prices.
- Beforementioned herbs are just examples of items sold at prices too competitive with the actual player's market. Briarthorn for example is sold even below wowhead's listed average buyout price.
- Pigments are being sold. Noone in his right mind sells pigments. Noone. The whole concept of selling pigments is... Weird. People sell herbs, or mill herbs and sell inks.
Will gladly at more when I find em, but those are examples from the market I'm monitoring...

Democracy is a bad way to determine if something should be made easier to get.
