[Rejected] Reduce PvP Gear Cost {PW}

Hey, again me.
This one is about PvP.

I suggest all the honor values for entrance gear is halved, blue set stays the same but is added for revered reputation of certain factions.
Many players would play pvp if it was fun and it is only fun in full pvp gear which is too hard to farm right now. So pvp enthusiasts are just in a weird spot right now, cant get gear and that way cant have fun. Without the proper gear we can not see the real state of pvp and can not know if it is balanced or not and I would really like before season 2 is released that we have balanced pvp.

Also I am suggesting this only for this starter pvp gear available now, all the upcoming gear should have values as Flooded once wrote.

One more thing that could be added is uncut gems for honor like you can buy on lvl 80, any price would be fine. All in all it would be a little change that would give something to do for pve through pvp (gems) and vice versa (blue set entrance pvp gear).

as pw is pve realm , pvp gears can be in emblem shop too , ...
because i saw tons of times in chat about noone care about pvp in game and all wants pve
so ye do something for gears

Yeah badges would be nice way to get pvp gear but I wouldnt put there end season pvp gear and would leave that for arena points and rating only.

i think something needs to be done with the costs, for everything. including rating needed for arena gear and arena point cost. to reflect the lack of pvp. no one is gonna farm 1800+ rating with the pvp how it is now, it would take much more time than it is worth. with the way pvp is going atm, it would take longer to get pvp gear than it would on a high pop server. cause pvp is allmost none existant atm.

there is so little pvp going on that there might as well be none.

You almost do not lose rating until 1500ish so 1800 is very reachable (it used to be 2350 in vanilla phase with same amount of pvp more or less and some ppl managed). End game pvp wpns should not be easy to obtain. I think that is one of the few things that is in its right place. Get your guild pvping one night of the week, that is 5 teams and there you go. In no time you will be all at 1500 at least.

Instead, how about increasing honor gained for specific time Windows? Like double exp events, but for honor. By limiting it to a time window, there could also be more Players pvping at the same time, making it more diverse and fun.

you probably know more about the rating stuff than me, havent really tried to farm for rating much before

Yes getting to 1500 is rather easy considering you don't take much if any of a rating loss for losing a match but it is just getting the people to play arena,I have recently picked up playing on primal again over the last 3 weeks (logging in at a lot of random hours of the day due to work) and don't believe I have seen the announcement that a team has joined 2v2/3v3/5v5 once in this time.

having season one pvp armor/weapons going on sale for badges soon/SSC release would give new players/alts/people returning a catch up mechanic that in most cases would put them still some ways behind the guilds that have been farming kara / gruul / mag for the last 2-3 months.

Bump. Some of the non-set epics are really nice even for PvE pre raid.

I think if we make it easier to get them for newly capped chars, people will queue more BGs even when on the losing side.
The more players there are the more honor will be gained, even moreso for the losing side. It's a snowball effect.

We need double honor events, reduced honor costs or something to incentivise PvP for undergeared players.
If you're on the losing side you get around 1k Honor per wsg right now, sometimes less.

If this isn't going to change until TK release, it's still too far into the future.
PvP is lacking players with resilience, we need to give new players an easier entry.

No point in even thinking about balancing pvp while people are running around in Kara gear

Many items have had their costs reduced to reflect the half way point for the season being over and the release of SSC. Some items will still have their costs changed based on player feedback and PvP activity.
