Anyway, Kara is no longer current content, the attunement is not a player check at all. Removing it will just make it faster for new players to get started. Has no bad affects on anyone.

-1 Attument was till 2.4. So it shouldn't. Also this makes already people lazy enough to this easy raid. The dungeons are easy too since we're playing on a wotlk cilent. So stop making things too easy......

we need to get more players on the server and if that means making some of the early content a little easier. so be it. it does not affect the current content so it wont change anything for the elitists

removing attument does not making it easier. It's just making more people lazier. It just save some time for them. They should keep attument since there is already good items in these dungeons.

I thought I'd chime in. After a week of getting people through the various quests I am a little frustrated.

I do believe Black Morass is a bit of a gear check though.

Could you AT LEAST get rid of that "guide" quest in CoT? That's just annoying.

Attunement is not really a gear check/skill check since you can be carried through those things, it's a give-a-crap check. Attunement shows that you at least care a little about your character and it seems like that would reduce the chances that some random would get a few pieces of gear and stop logging in. If they just instantly got a kara carry 15 minutes after dinging 70, that gear wouldn't mean anything to them.

i can understand that some people demand removing the attunement, altho i do not entirely agree on that.

the problem is, that the server population is quite low and it is hard to find groups for those dungeons.
another issue is, that primal staff still has not fixed 2nd boss in shadowlabs and people don't even want to do that dungeon. that boss can just be done with some stupid tactic that random rdf people mostly are not bothering with and leave rather than read party chat after a wipe.

that is really funny tho. as far as i know, one of your top rogues stopped playing shortyl after the level phase, because he could not get groups in your guild for normal and heroic dungeons and therefore he was not able to collect his pre raid gear. he was asking me multiple times to help him out, because no one in your guild was willing to tank/heal for him or whatever. and then he did not get invited to kara raids, because his gear was not preraid. good job. great guild community

There's a reason as to why Karazhan requires an attunement. Like others have mentioned, it's to make sure fresh 70's are prepared to start raiding.
If you look closely, you need Karazhan in order to get attuned with SSC (by fighting Nightbane and retrieving his Blazing Signet) which also gives you a chance to do the Mount Hyjal attunement (by getting Vashj's Vial.)
Having the attunement on Kara is basically a test to see how raid worthy you are, and to show other raiders how dedicated you are to actually begin raiding.
So, after that, It's a -1 from me.

Whats better for retaining a raiding population?

Keeping a key for farmed content or removing it so you can pull new raiders in and keep them playing the game with their guilds?

No one is suggesting to remove the SSC or TK keys right now - Karazhan is entry level. If you want to keep the key start running 5 mans with new players.
