Re-enable the "Last Man Standing" achievement

It has been decided that none of the people who have obtained this achievement in past 6 months have gained it legitimatly and that it was intended to abuse to get this achievement and is meant to be a rare achievement,

Thus the achievement has been removed from 14 players in total (you know who you are) and the achievement has been disabled to prevent further abuses.

Some players were caught cheating this achievement about a year ago. The result was that they had their achievements removed and that the achievement got disabled to prevent further abuse.

I think it's unfair that everyone gets 'punished' for the actions taken by these players, as you could easily monitor all of the 0-20? 5v5 games that happens every season, to ensure that they went down properly.

Maybe this could encourage some achievement hunters to gather some teams for weekly 5v5 games, which would be nice considering the 2v2 bracket is filled over geared players who stomp on every new player comes in as a new-timer. -- I know my shaman would like that.

This was discussed amongst the staff and the answer is NO, it was felt that if this achievement was re-enabled players would just wintrade again to obtain this achievement and there is next to no activity in 5v5 to warrant this achievement been enabled to be earnt in proper way.

Very well. Would you remove the achievement from everyone else who have previously gained it, to ensure equality for all players in terms of achievement hunting? Considering there has never been any activity in the 5v5 bracket, it's safe to assume that everyone who has this achievement has previously cheated it.

This is not true as we know noone who has obtained within past few years have got it legit and those who got caught got achievement removed and a ban, also remember that the servers which merged into Truewow at one time all had more population than Truewow currently has so some players may have obtained this properly and the same for transfers.
