It would encourage people to gather groups to queue up on the designated times, knowing that they would actually play, rather than queuing on random times, and wasting time waiting more than actually playing.
A +1 from me.

Exactly, a +1 from me for this idea.

I must say no and speak for the lot of people that can't even access the forums. And why can't they access the forums? Well, there are some casual players on this server who doesn't have the option to be online at any hour, and that being said it's never a good idea to close down the arena the few hours they can be online.
I myself was there for a long time, only able to queue between 7-12 in the morning. I have friends who are only able to queue at 9-3 in the evening/night.
Not everyone aims to wintrade at the small hours, some people just don't have the option to be online. Sadly most of those people won't even see this topic for the very same reason.

It would actually be especially helpful for people like you if it's only opened in the weekend. The queues will be concentrated so waiting times will be shorter, if you don't have much time to queue then it will give you a higher chance of getting matches.

Well I don't have that issue any longer but there are still people who can't be online at certain times. Maybe they're going away over the weekend, then they lose arena for an entire week.. some people have weekend jobs etc. Forcing the queuing to certain days is not the way to go IMO.

Personally, I'm against this because I believe players should play whenever they feel like, not when they're enforced to play. Conditioning play time is something I believe the Staff should stay away from.

Voted against because not everyone (like myself) are able to play on weekends be cause of RL. We shouldn't have to decide putting off real life in order to catch some 3v3. Period. The idea is also against the servers' policy isn't it? I thought we strive to be as blizzlike as possible? If you were to keep 3v3 on at weekends only, you would be denying people who play it the chance to even play 3s because they won't be able to play on the weekend cuz of RL. But it seems most of the staff is set on this idea whether the poll works or not. We'll see...

So, what's the overall opinion on this?
Just quoting this to make sure people get the initial idea with this topic.

i disagree, it limits 3v3, those who play 3v3 on normal days will still queue during weekends anyway... its not the 3v3 playing people you gotta push, its the people that dont play 3v3 you gotta push.

how? i said so many times in the past, more rewards, yes its not blizzlike but do you have a better idea? i dont think so

More rewards! Let's give them a euro for each 3v3 game played.
Elder Myaoming (aka Slardar): Level 80 Tauren Feral PvE/PvP
Siforosse of the Undercity: Level 80 Undead Affliction Warlock PvP/Demon PvE
Zibuluge of the Ashen Verdict: Level 80 Human Frost DK PvP/PvE
Inverse: Level 80 Human Fire Mage PvP/PvE
Slar: Level 80 Night Elf Resto/Feral Druid PvE

-1 from me.
As expecting people to arrange their real life commitments so that they will be free to play around a specific time period in which these brackets are open will only cause us to lose people who are unable to play with-in the given time slots, therefore I'm against this being implemented.

The only plus side of limiting is the reduction of the time that these brackets will have to be monitored for win-trading.
