Fast is fine but accurate is final 
It's not the first time something like this is suggested, and while it may benefit the current population I still agree with Noxies that it can severely suck for battlegrounds that were designed for a vast number of players. Nothing wrong with discussing things and coming with a final decision.
I am also more than certain that the major goal here is to provide everyone enjoyment and the staff has been more engaged than ever at that. They'll come up with the best decision, I haven't a doubt

1. As far as I know, WSG required number of players is 2 vs 2 already.
+1 for making AB 2 vs 2, even though I know it won't quite work.
-1 for SotA, IoC, AV and EotS, those maps are very larger than the first two, and making it 2 vs 2 would not improve the PvP scene at all.
2. Now, about the urgency of this change... Well, enabling cross-faction was urgent and I remember it being implemented quickly after being suggested (by Gnurg, if I recall correctly).
This is not needed as immediately as cross-faction was, but, on the other hand, it's not as game-changing...
I believe you guys should calm down, pressuring the GMs to rush this will not bring better results.
Yes, it was said it's easy to implement, unlike the other changes, but still the risks and potential damage must be considered too.
3. Complaining about Foror's Crate here will not yield good results either. Please, make a new thread about that and keep this one clean.
