As for ruining the legacy aspect, if this suggestion gets accepted that goes out the window no matter what.
[Accepted] Make Relentless Tier 1 Weapons purchaseable

Seeing the current population, anything that might increase some sort of activity is something worth of doing.
Also people saying that it makes no difference have no clue how good of a weapon it is for people who don't have an Epic PVE weapon or wrathfull weps.

So basically no one whos spent more than 1 day at lv80. You can do fine in full relentless without the weapons.aveseer wrote:Seeing the current population, anything that might increase some sort of activity is something worth of doing.

The only clue people dont have is how to play their comps properly.
Just to show the point:

mage/rogue in lv70 pvp gear on s8.
"he cant even base a shit + he is worst pvp player in here and he tells us we are bad in pvp this is nonesense its like Englez will say that virdo is bad in leading raids and in pve and after virdo asks him why he say that and for what reason englez will say 'i dont want to destroy your statements ive been there done that etc' "-Balanced 2015

Lol, people are still using this as an argument?SomethingWitty wrote:Not blizzlike
I do agree with you that that 90 resil won't be life-changing or ensure survival. It is a miniscule amount when you already have 1000+ resil.
EDIT: I think wanting it for Transmog reasons is as good of an argument as it is if you wanting it for the sole purpose of pvp-usefulness. Ruining the legacy of the weapons? Get out of here, there is no "legacy" in a private server. Ever. Rather than looking down upon those Transmog reasons, accept them, because everybody wanting it for PvP and for Transmog reasons will be happy, so why not join forces.

Funny... ruining the legacy aspect of the weapons on the server where we have more SM than active playersGnurg wrote:

Are we getting this? New season started.
Re: Make Relentless Tier 1 Weapons purchaseable
Any idea on how to extract ids from a list like this one? http://www.wowhead.com/weapons/name:Rel ... -level:245
Nevermind, figured out a way.
IDs to be added to a vendor:

Re: Make Relentless Tier 1 Weapons purchaseable
All T2 WF weapons are priced at the same price. Why make any difference to these? I thought we could just price everything at 450 AP, a bit more expensive than the already purchasable relentless gladiator's sigil/totem/libraim. Reuse extendedcost 2946.Doctor_J wrote:ranged

Re: Make Relentless Tier 1 Weapons purchaseable
because a two-hand occupies two item slots and gives more stats that one-hand item otherwise players who cannot or dont want to equip a two-hand weapon would have to pay 2x
and as already said stats from ranged slot are minimal also there are off-hands, shields in t2
also in s8

In S8: tier 1Doctor_J wrote:because a two-hand occupies two item slots and gives more stats that one-hand item otherwise players who cannot or dont want to equip a two-hand weapon would have to pay 2x

2 hand wf t1 costs 1540
1 hand wf t1 costs 1300 (84 % of a 2-hander)
1 hand OFFHAND/shield costs 350
bow, crossbow, gun costs 1540
thrown/wand costs 1260
I would suggest using already existing ExtendedCosts.
2442: 16800 Honor and 475 Arena (2 handers, Ranged Weapons)
2440: 12000 Honor and 350 Arena Points (One Hand, Thrown/Wand) (73 % of a 2-hander)
2431: 250 Arena Points (Off Hand, Shield)
Reason I want the price at this level is because this should be the option for new arena players and pricing them too high might be a mistake. Arguably the shield and off hand should be cheaper, but scaling it further down can impact PvE gearing, which would be bad.
NPC to place them on would be: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=30885/blazik-fireclaw as he currently only sells 4 items.
I don't mind making the SQL for the vendor, if you approve this.
Re: Make Relentless Tier 1 Weapons purchaseable
well we cant add custom extendedcost ids this is list of available http://paste2.org/2MD0HkdO
Re: Make Relentless Tier 1 Weapons purchaseable
The 3 I suggested are in the list. They worked locally, so I would assume the worked here too?Doctor_J wrote:well we cant add custom extendedcost ids this is list of available http://paste2.org/2MD0HkdO
Re: Make Relentless Tier 1 Weapons purchaseable
Could we implement this by these values then?

2440: 12000 Honor and 350 Arena Points (One Hand, Thrown/Wand) (73 % of a 2-hander)
