Thanks for bumping this, I forgot that it's almost June. It would have been nice if there was some more input on the matter but most of the people that posted seem to agree with the suggestion.

Hopefully one week notice is enough. If players need some more time to close the season, I guess we would hear soon enough.

Well, to be perfectly honest, in regards to the top teams, I don't think it's really fair to hand them out only rival and challenger titles. People who are fully geared, need some kind of motivation to keep doing arenas and keep the bracket active. Yes, I fully agree, that r1 titles shouldn't be handed out at this point, but I would highly suggest giving top teams atleast gladiator/duelist ranks, followed up by rival/challenger titles to lower rated teams.

Gladiator title should not be given before the start of the Burning Crusade for sure. As for other titles, they might be given.

This is a really great idea. I think that the top teams should be rewarded with an exclusive rewards ( I dont think it really matters if it's a mount or title at this point). It would be really fitting to reward people for their efforts with currently unused titles (as Flooded menitoned) or even exclusive/rare mounts.

A great idea to reset the season.

However, I would strongly suggest balancing out pvp. There is certain classes that is simply dominating pvp, mostly due to the talent trees I suppose.
How such a balance in pvp would be fixed I do not know, but I suspect that if pvp became more balanced, more people would do pvp, atm people stop pvp or reroll to a class that is dominating.

Hey there, good on you for reseting arena

Teams within the top 10% of active teams in 2v2 will be awarded with the Rival title.
Teams within the top 35% of active teams in 2v2 will be awarded with the Challenger title.

Having a bit of confusion here, since im trying to make sure i am in top 10%.
How is top 10% calculated? Is it of what is considered active teams? Or is it everybody on the arena ladder?
Are dead teams being calculated in? (For an example - Garland(inactive) being the only char on team "Cherry popping")

So, yes only from active teams.
And no it only mentions 2v2. But there isn't really much point to do the calculations for the other brackets and cause longer downtime. They have far less active teams so probably only Challenger could be acquired there, which is easier to get from 2v2 anyway.

I know this comes a little bit late but is there a chance for delaying the reset 1 week?
Maybe I am not the only one with this but I personally would need 1 more week. It wouldnt have been an Issue if Alterac Valley games would have rewarded the CtA Arena points bonus :-/

Also when exactly would the reset happen (servertime)?

Moving this to accepted because the new season has already started, there were not enough objections to get it delayed.

I turned out that rank 1 and 2 were actually in the top 3% to be eligible for Duelist, in total 3 characters got it.
