[Accepted] Arena rating for reputation PVP Items

Prime, let me ask you a question, do you play on this server? If you do, did you ever Q a BG or an arena?

I can see what you mean with the reputation items even though they would not be possible to obtain if we were a Vanilla server, due to the AV reputation.

But the R14 weapons are currently too good to be obtainable in an easier way and have been added just in case arena becomes more active. Making them available for someone who has 50k HKs wouldn't make much difference. Would you rather want them to be removed completely?

Wintraders will get banned and their rating+PvP gear removed.

basically: another version of those items but with higher arena points cost and no rating, 5000 arena points cost ? 10000 ?? , then either 100, 75 or 50 arena points for the 1st bg win that day and 25, 20 or 15 arena points for the rest of the bgs won that day, EASY GEAR ??

I think the current system is fine. Motivating people to find working arena compositions and testing them out is what awarded people the best gear in TBC and Wrath.

With the X number of killing blows alternative, battlegrounds will become even more about who can farm mid or a graveyard the most, rather than making it a group effort to win the actual game.

Let the system play out a bit. Hoping we see an influx of players who decide to play, rather than spend all their efforts complaining about it.

Understand you don't like arena, but that's a pretty easy way to get the r14 gear for minimal effort. We'd see people afking left and right to the best gear currently available.

In TBC boomkins really only stood a chance at high ratings in the 5s bracket, but in there they added a LOT to the team and it was very likely for them to achieve gladiator in this bracket.

This is completely new territory. Get creative. Play around with your talent trees and group comps. Take part in the fight nights Cleo has begun organizing.
