nope for example,
Horde warlock gloves have 20 spell power and 50 Sp interrupt
Ally one got only 50% sp interrupt,
Horde leggins also for warlock have 10+ more spell power, etc

Still unsure is this for every class or just warlocks,

Hands - 18 stamina vs 21 spell power
Feet - 7 spell power vs 6 stamina
Legs - 6 stamina + 7 intellect vs 12 spell power

Those are the trade offs.

I don't even blame you for going horde. The set is so much better.

That's good though. Horde needs fresh faces on the field of battle.

This will be a difficult issue to tackle.

Do we favor the Blizzlike model because that is what this server is trying to be? Or change the stats to equal eachother on horde and alliance side for fair PvP?

In this case it would be better to change the stats.

On this server we offer arena, which as you all know is a very competitive part of PvP and every advantage is used to its full extent. The old vanilla did not offer arenas, let alone the honor system we have now, we should change the stats to better work with this new "Primal-Vanilla" and give the alliance a fighting chance as we explore these interesting wotlk mechanics at level 60.

I dont see the "We should keep it blizzlike" argument compelling. This does not favor PvPers as a whole and lets just admit this, nobody noticed that this was an issue until now, and I doubt anyone will notice that the stats are the same after. I very much doubt this will ruin the "Blizzlike" experience people want, or if hardcore PvPers even care ... "But my gear will rekt the noob Alliances" As you know, thats not true PvP, thats just stomping noobs, real PvP is much more fun for many and this change to stats will help PvP overall.

Does anyone know if the upgraded sets (current arena gear as well as next seasons / r12 & 13 sets) will share the same inconsistencies or if it will balance itself out?

Checked mage sets yesterday and they've got the same stats both alliance and horde side. Not sure if any other classes have similar discrepancies.

Crazy after playing vanilla for 5 years or so that I've never noticed this.

Every other tier of pvp sets have same stats for horde and ally, no idea why is this one different. So it wont matter much when epics are released, and current blue went for honor points.

Well that's good. At least we know it's just a temporary imbalance. Hopefully it'll get a few more players to roll horde to PvP, as we could desperately use more people playing.
