You shouldn't be able to log in with your email. Did you create your account correctly? You should log in with your account name.

Seems like if you logged in with your email, then it updated on you. Can you see what version you're on? Did an auto updater come up?

Open your Wow and at the lower left side of the screen you can see the game version. It would say 3.3.5 (12340) (Release).

Delete all your possible realmlist and do set realmlist logon.primalwow.org:3725 only. I believe you can change the option from read only to make it in a way that you can edit it but if you cannot change the option from reaImlist you can try to copy it in another place and then try to create a notepad / word that you will save it as realmlist.wtf (ofc in that file you will set the realmlist as normal) and see if that works.

Also keep in mind that even if your forum account and in-game account are the same you may set a different password for them. You can try resetting the game password from the Account Manager.

Never try to log-in with the e-mail as that will not work here, it will only start patching your game or ask to patch.

Just change it by yourself from .txt to .wtf. It used to work for me. :S

...Nvm just stopped being stupid. TL;DR: Log in with your username, not your email as stated above and don't enter wrong credentials. Have a good one!

I have both TrueWow and PrimalWow installed on my computer (installed by someone else, I inherited the PC).

Both are taking up a roughly equal amount of space and I'm trying to clear some. My question is, can I safely uninstall TrueWow files and still play on Primal?

In character selection screen choose select ream click it then go to primal. No need for 2 clients.

Sorry if I'm misunderstanding, but you're saying I can delete the entire TrueWoW folder right?

You do not need two copies of the game... all that you need is to select which realm you wish to play at the character selection screen. In fact, you have never needed two copies of the game.

Thanks I appreciate it. Again I wasn't the one to install it so I had no idea.

HOLD!!!

Before you delete TW client, go to folder WTF and enter folder with your Username, in it, there is folder Truewow which l suggest you to copy it to SAME LOCATION but on Primal client. That way you will have your addon settings remain and wont bother to setup again.

When the realmlist were separated, it was not "required" but more convenient to have 2 clients. But there is indeed no longer much reason to have 2 clients.
