Out of all *.MPQ files, Interface.MPQ doesnt actually exist. It even should not exist.

Folder Data contain following *.MPQ files:
  • common
    common-2
    expansion
    lichking
    patch
    patch-2
    patch-3
    and folder enUS
Folder enUS have following *.MPQ files:
  • backup-enUS
    base-enUS
    Expansion-locale-enUS
    expansion-speech-enUS
    lichking-locale-enUS
    lichking-speech-enUS
    locale-enUS
    patch-enUS
    patch-enUS-2
    patch-enUS-3
    patch-enUS-q
    speech-enUS
No other folder should contain other *MPQ files, unless client modified.

Looks like the patch-enUS-q is not present. That's so weird. I wonder if that is what's causing the problem. Where would you even look on the Web to find a single file like that?

Hm, my bad, Patch-q also not exist. l dont know why l put it? Guess l was too sleepy.

Anyway, my download of MacOS is half way done so l would soon have it set up on VM soon (since noone in range of 250km around me is not using it). It could help me to reproduce bug you are having.

Also, lf you are willing, with your permission l could get into your computer and check myself where is actual problem. We will use teamviewer for that by the way.

Ok sure, let's give it a try. What's your day looking like? I think I'm free until 14:35 Mountain standard time. Otherwise I think I'm free all day tomorrow.

Found reason why it didnt work. It was needing WTF/Config.wtf to be preinserted.

Hi. I followed your instructions for this mac client and altered nothing from this download. Using the launcher, the game proceeded to want to download the retail version of the game, one xpac at a time. What needs to be done to just sign into true wow?

You need NOT TO type email address, but type in Username. It is problem that it ask for Email which is for Blizzard server, username is for private server.

I'm sorry, you said you used the "Launcher".

It is my understanding that you are not supposed to use the launcher but to access the WoW.exe program.

Am I incorrect?

Hold up, you said you are using Mac. That means that both Launcher.exe nor WoW.exe should work since they are Win executable files which cannot work on Mac (unless there are emulators). That is why l provided World of warcraft.app which is virtually same as WoW.exe but was ment to run on Mac.

l did refer to World of Warcraft.app as launcher since its only thing that can run game on Mac. Not Launcher.exe nor WoW.exe, they wont work there.

If you would like, like previous guy with problems running wow on Mac, l could enter your computer and check what is wrong and fix it up for you. OFC your permission is required.

Just because I'm an absolute ass (and not a competent OSX user) could you post pictures of each step please? :)
