Abusing public chat

Reporting player Ragnorak for abusing powers on public chat, as he is aware of what he is doing he should get ban. He can check Rules for more informations.

Did you ask him to unban you from the channel? You could have tried to settle it with the player before coming here.

The screenshot doesn't show any channel name except from the Matsy paste, I don't know if that can be taken as proof, "lfg" isn't our official channel, "lookingforgroup" is. I don't see anything in this report to sustain it.

I can confirm as well as many other people that this happened in official LookingForGroup [4].

I think after last night's server crash it had to do something with lfg. Someone from group has the leader rank, in this case it was Ragnorak, so he took the chance to abuse and ban a player from it.

Best would be to take some action about it asap, otherwise more abuses will happen.

Just now the rank passed randomly to me, guess i was lucky:

Don't really know why this was happening to the lookingforgroup channel but it will be fixed at the next server restart thanks to Doctor J.

As for the report sadly some players took the liberty to mess around with players they might dislike and I know it can be frustrating but Arnis and Mirramar you don't need be so hostile at Nyeriah's reply. She is actually right and the report did not show much coming from the screenshots Arnis posted. Virdo's screenshot and post actually showed more than the original post itself.

Instead of messing around or "abuse" the temporary access that was given due to some bug/mistake at the channels you players should report this to be fixed instead of making reports about each other.

Anyway I know this might not be the action or response you were looking for but in this case we will not ban or take any action regarding today's lookingforgroup temporary issue. In the future please report this either in a ticket or at IRC instead of trolling around and "having fun". (generally speaking)

If for some reason these issues with the channels will be back please report them as soon as possible so things like this do not happen in the future. Until then locking and moving this to resolved.
