Hm... did you look at my screenshots? You see mage there. And Fastor please look at my Screen shots, it's not the same, I was standing on the other corner of that pillar and it still kept hiting me.

so i tried and made ss in similar position,as u can see he is standing on the pillar and im hiding behind same one
as u did in ur post



there u can also see the point where volley was casted and that i was taking dmg on the spot i was standing...
it also proves what boxis said tho thats better visible on this one



which is that even if u cast aoe on other side of that small pillars aoe will hit u,which wasnt really case of this
topic since u can see on those ss at beginning blizzard shards were hitting ground far behind them so it was
casted on similar spot as volley in my ss...

I'm locking and moving this as the image provided on the original report is not conclusive as Fastor mentioned the spot is reachable (or as far as I could see it).
