I think this is not completely fixed. Did it twice, both times I did not receive credit. When I talk to the TI NPC, it brings up the quest title and that is all. No way to turn it in that I can see or to complete it for that mater.

I had just tried to do it twice before I posted this. I also spoke with a GM about this before posting this and they were the one who told me to post this since they did not have a solution for me.

all quests in chain work but you should not the following

as usual you and/or group have do do at least 51% of the damage to boss, damage from pets, minions, other players not in your group do not count towards this
If a pet or minion gets the killing blow you may not get credit
Also make sure you get threat on boss as if other players do more damage than you this may also cause for you to get no credit

Anyway as said quest works, its threat issue if you dont get credit.

also dots may not count towards damage done by you since casting dots dont always put you in combat unless you are only target, but for example if in a group priest can cast dots and it wont put you in combat until you cast a direct damage spell (this is bugged) that is only case when another player has agro.

all quests in chain are rewarded in exactly the same way (kill credit to invoker group)

also make sure boss does not evade if you get too far away from bosses home position it will cause boss to immediatly despawn and gurthock will say different text to if quest was completed in that case you must abandon and retake quest to try again.

Again, the issue is also when you talk to the guy you turn the quest into, all that comes up is the quest title. nothing more.

quest works does Gurthock actually announce that you killed when you kill as that is not in the ss as it should trigger text on gurthock but will also trigger different text on gurthock and despawn if boss gets too far away from home position

When we killed him it announced that I had defeated the elite and was the new champion of anguish. It does not give me credit and as you can see when I go to turn it in it is blank save for the title.

Just one question when trying to complete this quest you was not in a raid group by any chance just this seems strange that it wont work for you but does everytime ive tested and other players say works fine too, and that ss does not show anything has does not show quest start or complete text and see last quest you turned in from ss was tails up or that

in addition to what I previously said,

if you are in a raid group then quest credits for non raid quests will not usually work
if you die and the npc gets finished off by dots or if boss evades from combat and dots remain on him and these kill him then credit usually wont be given either

not in a raid. showed you the screen shot the npc does not even display the quest properly.... don't know how much more info I can give you.....

Fastor, I'm not trying to pull something cause I can't solo it. I had guildies help me do it twice and it still will not work.

Im not saying you cant solo, lm saying you doing something wrong and I dont know what. So instead of usual helpers to ask for some other helper since that quest had been done and its working.

I guess I can try it again.... but my big question still is, if the turn in NPC has issues, what am I to do? Look at the screenshot..... I'm pretty sure that is not how the quest is supposed to look when you view it at the ti NPC.....

Ok, so four attempts later it finally gave me credit..... cannot for the life of me figure out what the problem was as the only change was in the last few attempts it was a pally instead of a dk and even then it did not credit me at first.
