A GM already told me this quest shouldn't even exist because Wotlk launched after the year of that Brewfest Mug and so we shouldn't be able to get these except the yellow one which was obtainable when wotlk came out (if Im not wrong about the color)

2007 - Yellow, 2008 - Blue(the one from this quest), 2009&2010 - Green. Should only be able to obtain green brewfest stein.

Well I know you were able to do both quests, but you need to pick & complete one by one. If you took both of the quests and completed one of them, you may have to abandon and retake the other one.
