When I use the mammoth harness on shattertusk mammoths nothing happens

quest is a bit dodgy but works after you use the quest item on the mammoth a gear symbol should show on the mammoth and clicking the mammoth will cause you to mount,

Its dodgy in that when you use the quest item it should mount you automatically but it does not you have to manually click on the mammoth after using the quest item.

have used the harness many times only to still get an attack icon .... no mount icon appears

well I have just tested it and found it to work how I told you,

One tip when you use quest item make sure you have the mammoth targeted if you just use quest item with no target it will not work,

Finally it worked .. I clicked on the mammoth even though the attack icon was there, I mounted it and was able to complete
