WoW errors...

i wonder if there's anything that i can do to stop some of the wow errors i get...

they appear mostly when logging in...

any suggestions?

Yes. Please be specific on the errors you are receiving so we can properly resolve your issue and of course screenshot would be a major help.

1. Navigate to your /World of Warcraft/WTF folder
2. Locate your Config.wtf file
3a. If it exists change/add the line SET gxapi so that it reads SET gxapi "d3d9" using notepad
3b. If it doesn't exist copy the config.wtf file from your retail/live install
4. Open the copied config.wtf and follow the same directions as 3a.
5. Delete the line referencing your default server to prevent quirky login issues.
6. Profit?"

that's a fix for a lot of things on windows xp and some things on vista and 7 xD

yeah i tried that but i dont have the config.wtf file from retail/live...

another solution as i read on the net is renaming the interface, WTF, cache folders so that they can be re-generated on the next login....

tried that and seems to work

Well I coppied that from another topic where a player had the same error.This worked for him/her.

I was gonna share the solution with the default settings and renaming those three folders in case the first one woulnd't work.

changing the names of the folders mentioned above worked!
