Yesterday I donated $20.00 to truewow in exchange for some sweet web points. I still haven't received said points, yet my bank account shows the transaction went through. What's the deal? Should I (or can I even) attempt a refund? Does it normally take over 24 hours for web points to appear?

It took a couple of days for my donation to go trough once, usually its there in a few minutes.

It's a normal procedure for banks to subtract money at the exact moment any transction is made. The real-time updates are what ensure there are no faults in the transaction process. This however does not mean the payment has been processed by the payment company. It takes a while until the payment system is informed and passes the information to the "seller" and end users.

I would suggest clicking the help button in the donate application and then "Did not receive your good or service?" in case there were any problems. I don't think donating and getting swindled ever go together but as long as you don't have the points, the transaction has not yet been completed.
