Reclaiming an old account

#1 » Post by Steyr » 30 Jul 2017 12:09

Hello server community and server staff. Especially the staff.

I have recently decided to check on my years-old account on truewow realm (haven't logged on it since it was still Gaming Consortium).

So far, I have managed to log onto the gaming account itself (good thing I remembered my password), but I'm experiencing problems with the character that's supposed to be there.

Trying to compose a PM to Roel, according to his post about transfers, didn't work, since
We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to participate more in discussions to be able to use this feature.
In light of this I would be very grateful if any of the staff members could contact me in this thread so we could work something out.

Thank you in advance,
Steyr

You should be able to PM anyone of the Staff now.

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, the problem seems to still be there, I'm getting the same notice, wether I'm trying to compose a PM or using a link from that post about server mergers.

Maybe the forums engine needs some time for the changes to kick in, otherwise, we might just have to keep chatting until I get the required posts amount :\

UPDATE:
Seems to be working now, I guess I was too fast with my reply.
Thank you for your help,
Steyr

Steyr,

any Game Master can help to assist with the issue of yours. Simply Private message one of us featuring one of the characters name and we will be right back at you with hints and information about how you can retrieve it.

Thank you for the help offer.
I have managed to reach Roel and we are currently working on this problem. Unfortunately, it appears to be more complex than I thought.
