Hi,
I was looking through this list of addons - http://vanillawowhunter.com/vanilla-wow-hunter-addons/
I wondered if there are any that people would suggest that are not on the list?
Thanks in advance
Addons
Re: Addons
While I use quite a lot, most of them are only minor Quality of Life improvements.
Still, I'm posting the few AddOns of mine that I can no longer play without (I grew too reliant on them).
• Ackis Recipe List - version I'm using: v2.01-14-gfc58e9f (download link)
What it does:
It generates a list of missing (not learned yet) recipes.
How to use:
It attaches a button to tradeskill windows. Just open any tradeskill and press the button "Scan".
• BindPad - version I'm using: 2.2.4 (download link)
What it does:
It allows you to set keybinds without the need of a messy interface .
Really, if a meteor fell on my computer and I had to install WoW and its addons again (from scratch) on another PC, this would be the first I would remember.
How to use:
Type "/bp" (without quotes) on your chat and press enter.
• Gladius - version I'm using: v1.2.0 (download link)
What it does:
It is a replacement for the Arena enemy frames. It is meant for easing targetting or focusing, and it allows you to track your enemies trinket cooldown, mana, debuffs, diminishing returns, if they are affected by crowd controls, etc. Highly customisable.
Totally useless if you are still leveling though (or not into PvP at all).
How to use:
Type "/glasius config" (without quotes) on your chat and press enter to open main window.
Type "/glasius test2" (without quotes) on your chat and press enter to open a preview.
Type "/glasius hide" (without quotes) on your chat and press enter to close the preview.
• Map Coords - version I'm using: 0.7 (download link)
What it does:
It attaches your current coordinates to your unit frame (optional, can be moved I believe) and to your map (can be moved). It's very useful if you keep checking your quests on WoWHead, as you can find (most of the time) in the comments section the coordinates for what you are looking.
How to use:
It's automatic once set up.
Type "/mc" (without quotes) on your chat and press enter.
• Gear Score - version I'm using: 3.1.17 - Release (could not find a download link)
What it does:
Shows you gear information through other player's tooltips (when you mouse-over them).
You will only find it useful if you when you start raiding - sort of useless before level 80.
How to use:
It's automatic once set up.
Type "/gs" (without quotes) on your chat and press enter.
There are many others, but I guess I'm not elaborating that much on them, but I still recommend you to check them out (Move Anything, NPC Scan, Gatherer, AtlasLoot, Doom Cooldown Pulse, Diminishing Returns, NPA, Atlas, Power Auras, Skada, Tweak WOW, Snowfall Key Press, Deadly Boss Mods, ...)
You can find a few more at the TrueWoW Download Section - you will probably find the GearScore addon there.
Also, check this topic for the Quest Test addon (made by Fastor - it automatically tries to complete your quest with TrueWOW's quest completer feature - that was developed with the intention of completing bugged quests).
Hope it helps.

Re: Addons
Hiya, interesting and useful addons listed.
I do however have a request. Do u have a good link for NPC Scan ? My main would be a BM Hunter and my NPC scan that i downloaded from curse does not work. It is out of date and i have enabled it. I have moved here from another private server and it didn't work there either.
Thanks,
Setanta

Re: Addons
Try the following links (I'm using both of them)
• _NPCScan v3.3.5.5 - this is the one you are looking for.
• _NPCScan.Overlay v3.3.5.1 - this just adds mob patrol paths to your map.
