I'd give this a try. Start with trying fix #1. And other ones (except number 3, not relevant here) if the first one doesn't work.

The wow client uses tcp to communicate, so it's likely that one of these will fix it.

What OS are you using now? Was it the same on previous disk too?

Can you give me the name of the network card through devicemanager?
I have been using Windows 7 for a year, so yeah. This is what I have on Network adapters in Device Manager:
- Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter
- Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller

Thanks, but none worked.

Ok so you are using an adapter?
Got a CD with it?
Same OS on previous/other harddrive?

If yes on first and lastl:

Unplug the adapter

Go back to devicemanager and right click your adapter -> uninstall

Insert CD and install. If a software comes along, be sure to have it uninstalled before.

If no CD, google for the Win7 broadcom 802.11n drivers and install. (Downloading from a PC with network of course, and transfer through USB or something else)
.

There's things that never will be right I know, and things need changin' everywhere you go.
But 'til we start to make a move to make a few things right,

I asked a friend to have a look on the laptop these days, I am far from this stuff, so I don't want to mess it more. I will let you know what was the problem after we have it sorted out. Thank you all for the support.

Network issue. If you reinstalled the OS it's probably some issue with the driver.
For general knowledge: limited access has to do with your own network and won't be caused by a game client or visiting a website. Most cases are bad drivers, defective network cards/cables or defective router.

And yes this is true. Its OS or driver of network from SW aspect or network, mobo, HDD(bad sector where driver is) from HW aspect.

Just download http://www.iobit.com/en/driver-booster.php and use it.

Just download http://www.iobit.com/en/driver-booster.php and use it.
Installed it and updated both network drivers that appeared, but the result is still the same.

I'll wait for the PC guy to fix the things these days. If something is damaged, it'll be replaced due to its warranty. Thank you for your effort, though.

No, don't get me wrong. I really appreciate everyone's efforts in trying to help me with resolving the problem(s). The truth is he (the PC guy) has been taking care of my computers for 10 years now, so he is the only I let to mess with my computers. I opened the thread, because I thought it could be something simple for me to do, but right now, I'd prefer him to fix whatever is causing the problem(s).

I used DriverPack Solution to update my network drivers, and it looks like everything is working fine now. Thank you once again to everyone, who tried to help me out =)
