US blocking server and website connection

Changed my realmlist to set realmlist 178.33.234.49 and it fixed the issue for me. For those that are still stuck

I cannot log into the server or log website << New York City here but i can access the sever thru its IP adress

This fix worked for me: goto network and sharing center, click ethernet, click properties, select TCP/IPv4, click properties, click the bubble labeled "use the following dns server address" for preferred use 208.67.222.222, for alternate use 208.67.220.220. make sure to click OK on all the boxes you close. restart WOW and enjoy (hopefully) TO ADD: you dont need to change the address in the WTF or DATA folders.

You can change your realm list file to: set realmlist 178.33.234.49
You can use the same IP address to access the website. Just type it into your browser. It has worked for 3 of my friends and I. It also seems to have worked for few people in the thread here and on /r/wowservers as well.

I'm not in the US and had to use Fastor's solution to finally log in after spending since yesterday trying, what's up with this?

We opened a support ticket with our host provider because this is taking too long, unfortunately there isn't much else we can do about this ourselves.

OpenDNS is better then ISP dns anyway.
