I'm not really a fan of buffing instances this way, will break too many char mechanics,
Why don't you just buff boss dmg or nerf tanks dodge, armor dmg reduction etc

with new system for dungeons ...

Stratholme - works nice, its good balanced, Dmg, Hp and heals ... +1
BRS upper/lower - pretty big shit now, every mob / boss doing melle dmg = no dmg , spellers hit like a truck .... -1
Sholomance - same shit as with BRS
BRD - not tested

Restarting the server for several hotfixes.
- Rage and Energy will no longer be affected
- Life Tap will no longer be scaled if it's really that bad for warlocks. Although this might give them infinite mana, we will see.
- Pets will also be affected
- Blocked damage and rage from received damage will also scale (like already mentioned earlier)

I am afraid it's not that simple like I am often trying to explain. Even if a tank has 5k HP with 0 dodge, parry, block and resistance while bosses hitting them for 4.9k, it would still be too easy. Healers would just be sitting there hitting a button once in a while and easily heal them to max.

Could you guys take a look at life tap? it eats too much hp for the same low mana gain.

The cost on your life tap is fine. It has to be 3x if your hp is 3x. The problem is that your siphon isn't 3x right now. My VE also isn't 3x right now, so we'll just have to deal with it until these issues get fixed. This change was a worse way to fix the healing, but the devs were forced into it because all of the bad healers bitched to no end about their numbers being smaller when it made no functional difference.

yeah that explains why it takes more time to self heal now

Do not give warlocks the same hp to mana ratios while buffing their hp. This trivializes the costs.

You also need to keep in mind that your DPS is basicaly 3x as high compared to how it would be on a true 1.5 patch. So any abilities that heal based on damage output, already heal 3 times as much. You're using the max rank for those abilities instead of a downranked version.

The cost's supposed to be rather trivial. It's silly if it's not even worth DPS'ing because regenerating your mana through life tap just isn't worth it for the healers to heal up (Hint: As of now, it isn't).

What are you talking about

It scales with Spell power with more spell power it's not even 1:1 ratio, atm it's 4:1 with priest and pala buffs in raid it's even close to 5:1 i should get personal healer or quit dpsing, after im OOM. and yes with good micro managment it's possible to have "infinite" mana.

No, it's not supposed to be trivial when healers actually have to try to heal, which is why we have buffed content in the first place. If life tap's cost was meant to be trivial, then blizzard would have made it trivial. It's supposed to be a risk/reward type spell that you have to actually think about how best to use it instead of just mashing it whenever.
