NPC Clockwork Mechanic 34184
Theses NPCs are in Ulduar - The Corridors of Ingenuity, cannot be targeted by normal players, cannot be killed.
Aoe doesn't affect em.

They can be targeted normally with GM On

I reported this months ago... a simple ".npc delete" command fixes the problem.

its not "months" cause they ware there 2 years ago when i put my first server for testing.

Ask for GM assistance for now. They need deeper scripting as they should not be there from the start.

If you take a look at my post, you can see that i reported them months ago here, but yes, they have been there for years now. Back when we were on spermik, these were there already with the exact same problem, i was the one who deleted them over 2 years ago...
Guess we'll have to hope to be lucky enough to have a GM around at the time this happens, and hope for it to be fast enough, otherwise they will just wipe the entire team :D
