Warrior - [Deep Wounds] talent DOT damage

The warrior talent Deep Wounds only ticks for 2-3 damage per tick when applied. It occurs when using both 2H and 1H weapons (I was using the heirloom Arcanite Reaper and a 1H non-heirloom axe). Please refer to the combat log SS below:

I've been hitting the dummy for the past 5 mins, and at level 80 the dmg seems to be quite normal for me, maybe your dmg is low because you're low level and you only have 1 point in the talent, keep in mind that the dmg is done over 6 seconds.
However looking at you screenshot I can see that the dmg is extremely low, so perhaps rank 1 is bugged somehow :/ see if rank 2 gives you problems aswell

There is also a question of scaling buffs provided by yourself at higher levels, such as Trauma and the other thing (forgot its name )

Will check out to see if Rank 2 gives any additional issues.

As far as the low level possibility, I don't think that is the case, but it is possible. In the lower part of the log, I had a crit for 282:

282 x 0.16 = 45.12

45.12 / 6 = 7.52

So, damage should be ticking for at least 7-8 instead of 2-3.

Deep wounds is supposed to do 16/32/48% of your equipped weapon's average damage, not the crit that triggered it, average damage means (lower end damage+top end damage)/2

I think dmg is correct since you have 240% dmg on crit, because of talent -> 8/2.4=3.33
