Pet talent Cobra reflexes (http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=61683) is supposed to increase attack speed by 30% and decrease damage done by a certain amount, the talent is supposed to be a dps increase but it currently decreases damage done by way too much so it actually becomes a dps loss. I couldn't find the exact amount of damage it is supposed to reduce but I found this post from wotlk beta and the talent hasn't been changed since as far as I know. As the person suggests, it seems to be a 7.5% damage reduction per point. Currently it is reducing damage by 15% per point.

Carrion Bird at Content (100% happiness only) - 191-219 Damage, 2.0 speed, 102.5 dps pre-Cobra Reflexes. with Cobra Reflexes - 159-187 Damage, 1.54 speed, 112.7 dps. (Cheeky - seems pretty similar to live, 30% speed, 85% damage.)
