The resist rate of the sacred cleansing buff has something wrong, my partner had 6x resist on immolate (the whole arena) when the proc is 30% (on paper) please check
Also i did some tests as spriest on a hpala putting dots, the SS that should absorb 600 + [90% X SP] every 6 secs, so like 3k absorb every 6 secs, but when i putted all the 3 dots on this hpala i had 4 over 5 ticks absorbed, and ticks do averagely 1k if not more, please check this too

If you don't manage to break sacred shield in 6 seconds then it will simply proc again overriding the old buff. The absorbed amount is 500+.75*sp or more depending on talents and this works perfectly, you can check this by meleeing a paladin and then casting a strong spell and see how much damage gets resisted.

since my dots do 3k in much less than 6 secs, i'm pretty sure the shield didn't popped back again before fading
my complain is bout the absorbtion of the shield, that apparently (based on tests that i can replicate) absorbs more than those (500+ 75%*sp)*120% that the tooltip says

Do u have any screenshots of tests that would support your complain? Are you also aware that the damage from dots also has a chance to be partially resisted? It'd be best to provide specific numbers exttacted frkm combat log. Additonally, take into consideration the prot talent increasing sacred shield absorb amount, as well as any buff that might have decreased overall damage taken of your target

Since I have 3394 spellpower and divine guardian talent, making some simple math we get that my shield absorbs 1.2*(0.75*3394+500) = 3654,6 which isn't even a single point off from the absorb you can see on the screenshot.

The bug with sacred shield is if hpala cast on another target sacred shield, the previous target still has a 12sec buff for absorb and is ablse to absorb for this time, without sacred shield on himself.

well if u dont brake shield it stays no matter if its on some1 else now

If you refresh the sacred shield buff on a target, I believe the 6 sec cooldown gets bypassed, because it was applied from a NEW buff, that's where the BUG may be. I play a paladin, but I haven't tested this, maybe someone who has more time on their hands and more knowledge can speak about it.
But from my point of view the absorb shouldn't proc in less than 6 seconds from when the last one did even if the buff was refreshed.
