Hello, I'm looking for a server to call home. I see tbc just released is progression on Kara still? Also how is the NA Player base?

Another note if I have a retail toon that is lvl 90 I can get a level 60 transfer? If I understood that right?

Here is the more-or-less up to date guild listing. There are a few NA raiding and social guilds in there you can peruse.

NA player base is fine, and yes you can transfer a level 90 from retail now.

Take a screenshot of the character selection screen with our Request a Transfer page in the background (USERNAME field). Like in THIS EXAMPLE. NOTE: It's crucial that the character for transfer is marked with the green check mark and TrueWoW is opened in the 2nd tab of your browser.

This should look something like this: http://imgur.com/a/ZPhfW - However, the character level for retail transfer is a minimum of 90 and as of now you can log into your retail account without a subscription - meaning the characters will show an Inactive sign or something similar.

Minimum of 90? Does that mean I can use a level 100 toon?

Yes, any toon on retail between 90-110 is eligible (exceptions for death knights and demon hunters).
