Down Under Incoming

#1 » Post by Urible » 25 Jun 2015 08:16

G'day, team.

Logging in from Australia. Was just shopping around for a private server and stumbled upon this and I am super excited. Will probably log on tomorrow night. Not sure if I am going to play a Priest, Mage or Druid, but I will probably play alliance (NE/gnome).

Sounds awesome. Are you guys playing horde or alliance? (Not that it really matters at this stage). I decided I'll probably play a druid. Logging on tonight for the first time under this user username.

Coming in from team Australia as well here lads!
Am still yet to create a toon on the server due to time constraints but will be joining Primal for the long haul hopefully this week. Was thinking about how grouse it would be to log in greeted by a bunch of g'days at decent hours of the day for down under. So I wanted to ask your thoughts on putting together a guild, as I've found life as an Aussie on euro low pop servers can be quite lonely. I am by no means saying it would be an exclusively Aussie only guild, as quite frankly in my eyes that would be rather un-Australian. I just feel that personally (and I believe many others) I would be more invested in the community if I were to be in a guild based of people from similar time zones. In doing so I believe we would have the opportunity to make great new friends which is very important to the ethos of this game as after all, they are what have made the memories I have of this game so great.
I look forward to hearing what you guys think and hope to be seeing you in game soon!

With you blokes being Alliance I might have to get a toon going on there too!

I have got an undead priest going at the moment, but I will make a dwarf or a human priest too (because priests are the best, heals on me boys).

I was also thinking of starting a guild - I have a particular idea that I have always wanted to do. I'll make my alliance toon and update my signature with his name. I'll be on tonight after I'm home from work probably around 6-7pm (CST). I'll hit you guys up with my idea, I think you'll like it.

Beauty sounds good mate, I should be making my first toon at about that time tonight. Probably looking at rocking a druid to begin with, not sure about name yet due to not knowing availability so I'll shoot you whisper when I'm off and running.
