Cross-Faction BG bugs?

I don't know if this might help or if it's even relevant, but here we go.


This is a piece of ChrRaces.dbc (columns 4 to 11) - from game client files.

I tried those values before. You keep your original skin on top of the other model, so you end up as say a cow with human skin.

AB Gy's are bugged , before if u was ghost in Gy and oposite team caped that gy , u had to port to other gy , but now u dont and u have to run urself to other GY

it's quite funny that you, the player who denies people to have an opinion about xfaction bgs unless they play 10 bgs every day, haven't noticed the most common bg bug on this server.

this happened loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong before you even played here.

If TrueWoW doesn't want it like it is, we can disable cross faction battlegrounds for them. I didn't implement it for TrueWoW, so I got no intention of following the suggestions (demands in this case) made by their players. If any other of the higher ups (i.e. admins) want it changed, they're free to change it if they'd like to. I like the current solution and won't make any changes to it unless we would find enough working display IDs to complete all the race-class rules.

Yes, I am being selfish for taking my free time to implement this future and patching everything wrong with the original patch to boost PvP activity. Even enhanced it with role balancing logic.

On the realm I play on (PrimalWoW), people prefer the gnome version, so that's the natural choice (just trying out draenei for now).

As I said, any higher ups are free to change it if they want to. Just don't expect me to do it.

No one denies the good things you have done, no one. But in this certain situation, you are selfish. If you were playing on TW, you would have acted quite differently.

I won't comment anymore until a further response from Nyeriah or any other developer who has the knowledge to do the wanted changes. Such a disappointment to see such ignorance towards the realm.

This all were a community suggestion which majority was in favor of, and seing the way increased frequency of BattleGrounds I believe that if we were to withdraw this then it would only become worse. Of course it's mightly to be in the future when we hit that 500-600 peak again

Eronox, by those changes, I meant the model. I have nothing against the crossfaction battlegrounds but the forced draenei model, and it's not only my opinion.

Guess I'll drop my opinion in because I play TW. I prefer Draenei, but I really don't care. Humans may be my least liked, but again, it just doesn't matter enough to me.

cf bgs are just a temporary thing that I don't like anyways. I think they're great for the current state of things (I can get 3 of my friends to queue, and we just need 1 more to do a wsg bg), and I can't wait until they're not needed anymore. Of course I'll be a race I don't want to be, I'm playing on the other faction!

I think a random model (chosen from found working models) would be the coolest option, and add more variety to the races we see and are in bgs. I can't speak for other players though as for whatever reason being the wrong race seems to be a total dealbreaker for some.

If I were to join a BG as horde cross-faction'd to alliance, I would prefer anything but humans to be honest.
I mean, they are the most boring race ever!
If at least blizzard made them resembling the "Vrykul" they would be much cooler.

The new models (a.k.a WoD models) kind of make them playable at least...




Back on topic, I decided to test morph IDs one by one (with the help of macros, to make it less tiring).
Already tested the following:
- 1 to 1000;
- 18000 to 21000;

Aaaand, guess what?
Got almost nada out of it.

Night Elf Male: 20318 but fucked up face
Draenei female: 20323 but fucked up face
Orc female: 20316 but fucked up face
Troll male: 20321 but fucked up face
Tauren male: 20319 but fucked up face

Could that "fix" help with the fucked up faces?

None of the listed display ids are greater than 2^16 - 1, so it wouldn't change anything. The one he tried was.
