Think we could get back our old Level-Race-Class icons?
Also maybe you could add a border around the avatar (maybe a customized one for ever forum position to fit their colors), so the avatar is nicely framed before the glow effect starts. It would look better in my opinion, right now it looks like it's been rushed and implemented.

I'm not following, where do you want this? I maybe didn't play at the time when you had "level-race-class" icon, since you defined it being "old". Could you please explain more? :<

I'd say that trying is the best one can do in order to higher themselves from the people crying and only complaining. Whilst you try, it doesn't mean it is always going to be the most successful result but I'd like to think that it is still a better choice than standing idle.

Re: A couple of suggestions
I dont like forums having default borders but since avatars here are so small it would be nice... i dont want to waste my precious pixels on a border :d
Re: A couple of suggestions
A few years ago TW had a different forum theme, a WoW theme, and you used to have to the left side of your avatar icons that you could edit on your profile according to one of your characters, level class and race, and I think it also had a forum rank that changed depending on the number of your posts. I think the resolution of the icons was 16x16, very small, but I thought they were pretty cool.Hansrutger wrote:I'm not following, where do you want this? EDIT:
Edited that border over so you have an idea of what it might look like

I think it looks gruesome and Etro agrees to that. :#
You could always photoshop your avatar into looking like that?

Well, if it wasn't obvious, I didn't mean for the icons to be implemented in that style, but rather a more modern style to fit the forums.Gnurg wrote:I think it looks gruesome and Etro agrees to that. :#
Re: A couple of suggestions
These icons are only visual pollution and you can't add it to a single theme specifically.
