After this week, the current option of free faction change will be removed because the factions have become more balanced. If BG queues are still overly imbalanced then we can implement a condition so only players with a certain amount of honorable kills can get a free faction change (which again would be a one way ticket to the faction that needs it). Such a condition would only target active BG players and not affect the overall faction balance that much.

Due to recent TrinityCore changes, the auction house system will be restarted at next update. This means that every active auction will expire once the server restarts. Items with bid placed will still go to the highest bidders, other items should be sent back to their owners.
There will not be any gold refund for the auctions house posting expenses.

Even though the current arena season didn't start smoothly, we're still sticking to our 6 month seasons. This means a new season will start on November 5th and rewards will be handed out like described at: http://www.truewow.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=9475
After that, we will again try some changes to the queue. People prefer it to be less strict with short queue times.

It took a while but the conditions for the arena queue have been rewritten (again) which should reduce waiting times by a lot. The maximum time will be 5 minutes for a high rated team against a low rated one, but in most cases it should be less. At least if 2 teams are already in the queue.

It seems like our network has experienced service shortages today after they have performed an upgrade. For the time being we're sort of unstable, latency and disconnects may be expected to happen while they sort things out. We're thankful for your patience and understanding. Regards.

It's to be clear that from this date onwards we'll acting more energetically towards possible violators of the character transfer feature. The current system implies that 1 (one) character may be transferred for the compensation system and 3 (three) characters may be transferred for the equality transfer (1:1). Attempting to find breaches to transfer more characters than allowed will result in the transfer request being rejected and retroactive actions being taken if necessary - we'll permanently banning the targeted account after the transfer has been processed, preventing any other transfer request for that character from being sent.

As a follow up of the previous account name length taken place in the past (http://www.truewow.org/forum/viewtopic. ... 87#p143345), now the core also validates it at socket level when attempting a connection. In other words, account names with length higher than 16 characters will not be able to connect.
Please open a thread at General Support if you encounter such issues. Prodigy has made me aware that there are over 451 accounts with length higher than 16 characters, and eventually they'll need to be renamed in the future.

For the time being, retail transfers will not be accepted until we implement an alternative way to validate them.

We have been experiencing technical issues that prevented us from processing any transfer requests for about a week or so. These issues were hopefully fixed with a recent trinitycore commit and we'll be applying it as soon as we sort some issues still remaining.
Additionally, I'll be updating the retail transfer request procedure with the new instructions tomorrow.

Today our realms froze twice with massive lag and a restart had to be issued, the website was also timing out. Unfortunately we still don't know what was causing this, there were no signs of any hardware being overloaded. In the worst case it will freeze again during the next hours.

We had to revert our core to backups dating from two weeks ago due to the recent instability caused by some latest changes. As a side-effect of it, the transmogrify optional feature will be enabled by default until we can get the setting back in place. We're also running without our support bridge so our services might be crippled meanwhile.
We should find a solution to these issues within the next couple of days. Another update's likely to be required.
Up to this point, these issues don't seem to affect PrimalWoW.
