Ulduar change

As
requested we have increased the drop rate for
Fragment of Val'anyr to 3x the original amount except for Yogg-Saron which was already 100%. We're not really in the habit of changing drop rates so this may still be adjusted based on feedback. Hopefully this will increase interest in Ulduar 25 man raids though it could still take a while to gather enough fragments as the default drop rate was very low to begin with.

I appreciate whatever efforts are made to keep the server alive but it is not understandable to me that how increasing drop rates and making everything easily achievable encouraging to players, including PvP title and gears too. If something is easily obtained or the rates are increased (I understand the rates are very low in the first place. But its how it was intended, ain't it?) how does that make people run those instances more? It should be counter productive that people will get it faster and more people will have it, later less people to do the raids since we have a few handful people playing. I am not sure the core ideology of TW is maintained anymore. Just my two cents, hope the server lives a long life and Kudos to Roel for his support and kindness.

You'd still need 2-3 months to get Val'anyr, which I wouldn't call "easily achievable", comparing to Shadowmourne which you can get it in 4-5 weeks. Before these changes, from a guild perspective, it was practically waste of time to farm fragments because it would take so long - basically up to 5-6 months. Sanctuary tried in past, but due to incredibly low rates, they gave up after 2-3 runs. Thanks to these changes, first time in many years Ulduar 25 runs happen weekly.
Also, I'd like to add that (almost) all "quality of life" changes that Roel and the team introduced, although some criticized heavily, were eventually beneficial to the server in the long run. Kudos to them for that!

Feedback from the last 4 raids (Yogg Saron included):
Week one: 4 fragments dropped
Week two: 4 fragments dropped
Week three: 3 fragments dropped
Week four: 5 fragments dropped
Note that the guild made the exact same runs like the weeks before the changes, aka HM on XT, Hodir and Assembly of Iron. In the previous runs (before the changes) we had only 1 or 2 drops x week and only once or twice we got lucky to get 3 fragments in one run (Yogg included).

There will always be disagreements on such matters but it's the people actually running the content that asked for this change. As said, other drop rates are still blizzlike. Most other custom changes were done with our population in mind as it's not the same as 15 years ago when we had an active auction house and 10+ battlegrounds a day. Though I admit PvP gear is easily achievable, barely anyone still cares about that either way. The difficulty is not supposed to be about trying to find people who want to lose 50 arena matches against you in order to gain enough rating.
