This topic will be used for smaller announcements that shouldn't go on the homepage but still important to notify the community about it.

Based on feedback, endgame creature HP will get buffed instead of the infamous player dps debuff. For those unaware, these modifications are required to make sure the content is not a complete pushover with the WotLK class mechanics.

This will only go in effect at next server restart (probably Wednesday).

Faction change from Alliance to Horde is now free and available in our shop. This free option is only available once per character and may be a limited time offer until the factions are better balanced. Paladins are not able to switch to Horde.

Linking items and/or spells on the official chat channels with no other reason but to create a spam may lead to mutes with no warning given (e.g. linking Thunderfury on purpose line after line.)

Since everyone is being very helpful by reporting any bugs they find, we have linked a bugtracker for better cooperation of developers between servers. It's still possible to use the bug forum for more casual discussion but it's recommended to report the bugs at the bugtracker. Before using it, please read this guide to know how to use it or your report may get closed.

Private servers undergo an infinite struggle to fix all the bugs in the game, there is only so much we can do in a certain time frame. So please try to help the devs as much as you can to get your bug prioritized over other reports. Of course it would be most helpful if you download a clean TrinityCore and try to fix things yourself. Submitting a piece of code, even if incomplete, can save devs some time. And who knows, maybe you are willing to join the dev team some day.

Gold rewards for midsummer quests have been lowered to prevent abuse by level 1 characters. Certain players got their gold removed.

This also means that "Torch Catching" and "More Torch Catching" have been added back to the quest completer. Unfortunately they are not yet fixed but this will make it possible to complete them for the remaining duration of the event.

Due to the rapid increase of raiders and ease of WotLK mechanics, we will be applying the progressional buff that was intended for future raid releases. This means more boss HP and less healing while getting a little easier each week until a new raid is released and certain bugs are fixed. We are hoping to release a downscaled version of Onyxia around September/October as the next raid in our plan so we will need to keep you entertained with Molten Core for a while. This will make sure that some effort will be required to kill Ragnaros for the first time, although the real challenge will be during the first weeks of the Onyxia release.

We don't think this will really hamper your progress so far as it's quite possible that next week's raid will consist of 40 players instead of 30, which will make up for the damage and healing.

The HP of Molten Core trash will be reduced as it was buffed too much, which only caused the raid to take longer.

Several "fixes" for the endgame healing debuff will be applied with the update tomorrow. Only the 4 healing classes (Druid, Paladin, Priest, Shaman) will be affected from now on. This means that other classes can now make effective use of bandages and Warlocks can better regain mana when they are not being healed.

Based on feedback, an overall damage and healing debuff will also be applied to BGs and Arena. Only level 50+ characters will be affected. This will make sure that the damage output in PvP is also more similar to Vanilla instead of players getting killed in 2 hits.

Based on today's BGs, tomorrow the PvP debuff will get replaced with a small HP buff to see how that works out.

I admit this has been messy but the changes to the Human racial were reverted and an alternative solution has been implemented because people were not happy with it. Instead of reverting all racials to Vanilla, the PvP vendor now offers a PvP trinket with a 2 minute cooldown and 20 resilience. The trinket with the 5 minute cooldown is still available with a reduced price as entry trinket.

If you already changed to a different race and want to change back, you can send me a message at the forums.

If it shows that you need to be level 70 to use the trinket, you can fix this by deleting your cache.

The usage of DEAs has been forbidden.

We have been victim of several malicious users in the past couple of weeks that keep bypassing bans and creating new accounts using disposable emails to violate our rules and practice scams. In order to restrain their activity we have decided to forbid the usage of Disposable Email Addresses.

This decision aims only at preserving the integrity of our users, protecting them from potential harm that may be caused by those fraudulent individuals.

We have blacklisted over a thousand of disposable email addresses that we will not list due to security concerns. If you're currently using a disposable email address you will need to change it at the User Control Panel in order to regain access to the administration of your accounts.

Regards.

Dungeon Deserter has been re-enabled. If you wrongly receive the Deserter in a certain case, the bug can be reported at the Bugtracker.

It's now possible to get the Vanilla PvP titles. They are obtainable through your number of Honorable Kills and they don't affect gear. It's not yet certain if we will make them unobtainable when we launch TBC content but once you have obtained a title you will keep it forever.

Required kills for each title:
Alliance Kills Horde
Private 100 Scout
Corporal 500 Grunt
Sergeant 1000 Sergeant
Master Sergeant 2000 Senior Sergeant
Sergeant Major 4000 First Sergeant
Knight 5000 Stone Guard
Knight-Lieutenant 6000 Blood Guard
Knight-Captain 8000 Legionnaire
Knight-Champion 10000 Centurion
Lieutenant Commander 15000 Champion
Commander 25000 Lieutenant General
Marshal 40000 General
Field Marshal 45000 Warlord
Grand Marshal 50000 High Warlord

All PvE vs PvP topics have been closed and so will any new topics with the same goal. Everything worth saying was already said a dozen of times. More arguing only gives people the impression of a toxic community and does more harm than good. If you care about the server please try to learn when it's time to a drop a discussion and try to not get triggered so easily by what other people say on future discussions. Just ignore and don't reply on such posts, it only creates an immature chain reaction. I know this is an impossible request but worth it if at least one person will try.

To summarize: The realm will stay PvE. The only thing we might consider in some way is this, as it seems the best compromise that wouldn't affect anyone who doesn't agree with it. Obviously only if we can implement it in a good way and it's definitely not high priority, we first need to make sure we can meet the announced release dates for the raids.

P.S. Sorry for the rant. This should have been done sooner but it takes something to test my patience.
