Isle of Conquest

#1 » Post by Nyeriah » 24 Feb 2015 19:28

Greetings,

After seeing enough positive feedback during the beta testing phase of Isle of Conquest we've decided it was time to step ahead and release it at our live realm. After tonight update Isle of Conquest will be added to our Random Battleground queue with the same weight as Alterac Valley.

In case you encounter any issue please report it at our Bugtracker. For the beta testing discussions refer to the Isle of Conquest - Beta Testing Season thread.

Regards and have fun!

Lok'tar ogar! Victory or death - it is these words that bind me to the Horde. For they are the most sacred and fundamental of truths to any warrior of the Horde.

I give my flesh and blood freely to the Warchief. I am the instrument of my Warchief's desire. I am a weapon of my Warchief's command.

From this moment until the end of days I live and die - FOR THE HORDE!

Don't queue directly for Isle of Conquest, queue for RBG. When there are enough people playing BG, it will then either pick IoC or AV while normally it would only pick AV.

This is really some great and interesting news, thank you for it.
Now tell me, how do you expect that we get an IoC ? if you ask us to queue via RBG
we could barely get an AV that would last more than 5min, and now with another same sized bg the chance is even worse.

How about we queue directly for it? the way i see it, atm a lot of players want IoC only since it's a "new" released content, and yes i know they should queue for random so we get more battlegrounds going and in the end IoC, but what do you do when less and less allies are joining?

You can try queuing for IoC but I don't think you will have much luck with that. You would need 10 players on each faction before it would even start and everyone is used to queuing for RBG. Only at peak times there are enough people to enjoy AV and IoC and the RBG script will select it automatically. So far there has been one AV each day on average which is quite decent compared to what we had in the past. Playing too much of it and people will get burned out quickly so the current method will keep people excited for longer.

And if not enough allies are queuing, get more active PvPers to change faction to alliance.

I expect that noone will agree with me, but lets for one week, this week make IoC same level as AB instead AV.

Just this week.

Hmm is the server crashing more often since IoC was enabled or is that just me ?

Yes it does, but I am not sure how IoC is the cause since it should start in order to cause a craash.. Zero IoC were played :D

Debug, right word is debug code.

Edit: Debug can help to translate mistakes and errors on compiled code. Hail maths!

Prodigy ain't the only one that knows how to read a crash log. As a matter of fact I already fixed the crash.
