I don't see why RS should be released with ID reset since it will not be affected whatsoever until its release. You are basically asking to lose 1 week of a chance of trying a new raid, because obviously it cannot be released before that.
In my opinion, the release date on Sunday is a perfect decision since it is during the weekend and most people would be free to raid, so we would give as much players as we can, the chance of trying RS upon its release, considering that they would be already locked for other regular raids and probably have nothing better to do.

we would gain... saturday, friday, thursday and wednesday... if i were to be released on the 16th...or heck even on the 23rd it can work...

regardless of staff decision, I PERSONALLY think, it would be best to open it with raid ID reset, instead of in the middle of the week.

There'll always be excuses and people that aren't happy with things. Last time we released something, week days weren't good for people because they had to attend to school and work. I personally would rather have it released when I'm at home just in case something wrong happens as I don't really like to rely or depend on others if it does, not implying something would, just saying.

You might wanna take into consideration having the devs around on its release, in case something goes wrong as Nyeriah previously stated.

fair enough then, if that's a good time for devs to observe the raid, if it's needed then sure, as I stated earlier, either day is fine for me, and I was just stating my personal oppinion... appologies if I sounded ungrateful somehow.

If everything works as it should, then hooray good job getting this out, just hope it's not easier than it should be.

Does this mean the ICC buff will also be increased to 25% on the week RS opens (preferably from id reset) ?

Doesn't really imply an improvement to the ICC buff, but since almost everybody wants such increase, maybe we could make it 25% on RS normal release, and 30% on heroic release?

To turn ICC into a RHC?
I'd rather lower it to 15% for more challenge.

Keep saying this, it makes far more sense for us to lower the % bonus in ICC.

Yes, technically it should be high due to the patch we're on, but the reasons for the buff are the opposite of this server. It was for people to do ICC before Cata came, and ICC was no more, here, ICC is essentially the end game raid and we farm it.

That's what I always said and wanted. We seem to be a minority wanting it this way though. If it was up to me, I'd remove it completely.

the option should be enabled to remove the buff, for all you ~ 10 hardcore raiders who wanna do icc without a buff... (I've only seen about 5 people who expressed their desire for the buff to be removed) and while you're at it, remove the icc gear they have, so that they start doing ICC in very hardcore toc gear...
lowering the buff now after majority has been geared will mean what? the raid itself being more challenging for those already geared people, while new people who won't be invited in icc anymore because of their low gear and small performance will sit farming rhcs, and weekly naxx quests.

anyway this thread has gone off topic long enough... so to stick to the OP, I am looking forward to a new raid being released, and maybe in the future, cata
