DECEMBER HOTFIXES
Posted below are all of the hotfixes we've applied to our server in the past month. This thread can be used for discussion.

  • Image
    • - Fixed Misdirection exploit where the aura expiring would cause the effect to remain active indefinitely

    • - Earth Shield ICD will work for creatures too now instead of just players

    • - Penance - If hostile target is not in front, it will fail in the initial cast and will not proc cooldown

    • - Bash - fixed interrupt non-player spellcasting
    - Fixed aura update before removing current spell pointers on finished spells => Fixes issue where pointer is removed before last tick of channeled spell causing trigger to be cast without target (Mind Flay, Penance, etc will not randomly skip last tick anymore)

  • Isle of Conquest
    • - Increased range for Keep Cannons

  • Icecrown Citadel Vault of Archavon Ulduar Blackwing Lair
    • - Various changes to Nefarian
      • * Rogue class call summon to front
        * Paladin class call should target Nefarian
        * Shaman Corrupted windfury totem
        * Fix the summoning/despawning of bone constructs
        * Tail Lash Drop Weapon should no longer effect Nefarian
      - Razorgore the Untamed
      • * Adds spawn 45sec after encounter starts not 45 secs after first egg is destroyed
      - Blackwing Spellbinder properly immune to magic now
      - Disarm & Interrupt immunities applied
    Naxxramas
    • - Thaddius follow-up:
      • * Reduce initial spawn timer on the encounter from 30 seconds to 5 seconds
        * Rearrange respawn logic to fix the "petrified" visual from not showing properly
        * Fix a potential infinite respawn loop that could prevent the encounter from initializing properly
      - Maexxna
      • * Improved Web Wrap target selection
        * Added missing text
        * Cleanup of web wrap positioning - two players will never be flung to the same position (25-man)
        * Further improvement to web wrap spawn behavior - targetable web wrap now only spawns after the player has finished being flung to the respective position (blizzlike)
        * Add additional web wrap positions
      - Added interrupt immunity to Gothik the Harvester, Lady Blaumeux, Sir Zeliek, Naxxramas Worshipper
      - Plagued Guardian - added ability Arcane Explosion

      - Instructor Razuvious reworked:
      • * Fix missing yells
        * Rearrange existing yells to match live
        * Sniffed positions for adds
        * Improve add respawn handling
        * Make adds not fight the player for control (don't use their spells on their own etc.)
        * Update adds' hotbar keys to match live (this will affect other creatures with nonsequential possess keys as well)
        * Fix adds' movement when mind controlled, they no longer move automatically when right-clicking (this affects all mind-controlled creatures)
        * Blizzlike timers
    Wailing Caverns
    • - Scripted gossips and abilities for all bosses
    Dire Maul - Added interrupt immunity to several WotLK dungeon bosses and creatures - http://www.truewow.org/bugs/view.php?id=2958

    Hellfire Ramparts

  • - Demons possessed with Enslave Demon ability should no longer have abilities without ICD
    - Fixed problem with Charge after being charmed

  • - Added all remaining Feast of Winter Veil spawns in whole Outland and Dalaran

  • - Potion cooldown will not start while in raid with encounter in progress - limits potions to once per encounter
    - Make combat pulse also cause player to stand (prevent abuse drinking after Shadowmeld)
    - Fixed Arena Treasure Chest spawning position
    - Grizzly Bears will play an emote when they are out of combat and hunt Rainbow Trouts
    - Improved Auction house deposit handling

    Changes:
    * Deposit caculated according to same rule as client. (detailed below). Should always match client deposit now
    * Deposit for multiple auctions now only collected once. Deferred calculation of deposit until all auctions listed.

    Deposit calculation is as follows:

    Base deposit calculation = MSV x 15/75% (depending on AH). However this is not rounded. Case to int is used (so always round down)
    The remainder is held in a float.
    The base is then multiplied by number of items, and the time multiplier (x2 for 24 hour, x4 for 48 hour)
    The nearest (no of items or lower) no of items when multiplied by the remainder that creates a whole number is then multiplied by the time multiplier (x1/x2/x4) and then added to deposit.

    Example:

    Item sell price 1s25. Deposit 18.75c (15% of 1s25). So base deposit = 18, remainder 0.75. Time 24h (x2) Item count 1 = 36c. Remainder = 0.75 (n) Min = 1s. Deposit 1s
    Item sell price 1s25. Deposit 18.75c (15% of 1s25). So base deposit = 18, remainder 0.75. Time 24h (x2) Item count 2 = 72c. Remainder = 1.50 (n) Min = 1s. Deposit 1s
    Item sell price 1s25. Deposit 18.75c (15% of 1s25). So base deposit = 18, remainder 0.75. Time 24h (x2) Item count 3 = 108c. Remainder = 2.25 (n) Min = 1s. Deposit 1s08c
    Item sell price 1s25. Deposit 18.75c (15% of 1s25). So base deposit = 18, remainder 0.75. Time 24h (x2) Item count 4 = 144c. Remainder = 3.00 (n) Min = 1s. Deposit 1s50c (144c + (3c * 2))

    Horrible kludge, to re-create a very weird deposit method.[/hide]
    - Orb Carrier and Focused Eyebeam - corrected model ID
    - Set new conditions for the Arena queue to reduce waiting times (again)
    - Added missing Dirt Mound spawn
    - Fixed Tournament Druid Spell Target visibility

  • - Orb Carrier, Ulduar Gauntlet Generators, Devouring Flame, Focused Eyebeam, Thunder Orb, Thorim Golem Left Hand Bunny, Voice of Yogg-Saron and Death Ray made invisible and Kel'Thuzad Throne uninteractable to players
    - Removed fire and shadow resistances from Kolkars in Durotar
    - Frenzyheart and Oracles tribe will always be attackable while having hostile reputation
    - Flight Masters are now immune to Charm
    - Wrathtail Sorceress, Slitherblade Oracle, Blackfathom Oracle scripted

    - Underbog Colossus - Add missing on death events, previously when killed these always cast toxic pool

    When killed now one of the following will happen
