FEBRUARY
Posted below are all of the hotfixes we've applied to our server in the past month. This thread can be used for discussion.

Instances
  • Raids
    • Icecrown Citadel
      • - Implemented the Spire Frostwyrm area triggers at the Rampart of Skulls
        - Gas Clouds should pick a new target if their current target is affected by ooze adhesive.
        - Fixed ICC buffs not being applied to pets.
        - Fixed the Rotting Flesh Giant immunities.
        - Increased attack range of Rampart of Skull's Spire Frostwyrms.
        - Solved issue with Putricide not moving to table after killing Festergut/Rotface at times.
        - Reimplemented old Lady Deathwhisper (fixes Full House).
        - Prevent Lay Waste from Valithria Dreamwalker's adds from being interrupted.
      Eye of Eternity
      • - Drakes will be provided upon entering Eye of Eternity if the instance is done.
        - Fixed exit portal disappearing after first use.
      Ulduar
      • - Fixed issues with Thorim's Runic Colossus (golem dummy among other minor things).
      Black Temple
      • - Fix several issues with the Shade of Akama encounter.
      Zul'Gurub
      • - Fix High Prist Thekal phase transition

    • Azjol-Nerub: Old Kingdom
      • - Reimplemented Hadronox script (fixes the Hadronox Denied achievement).

    - Solve issue with mage's Blink granted stun immunity.
    - Death Knight's T10 4pc aura will also apply while out of combat.
    - Crusader Aura and Aspect of the Pack shall no longer apply to vehicles.
    - Relentless strikes - Only proc when spell hits successfully.
    - Remove Banish on recast.
    - Possibly solved issue with standing Mirror Images.
    - Fixed Energy refund on failed finish moves
    - Rampage - Avoid stacking aura when two warriors in raid
    - Blood Tap - Handle each cases
    - Seal of Righteousness - Skip learning 20154 on holy skill
    - Fix threat generated by taunt effects.
    - Rework of Blood Tap to apply new rules and rune cooldown resync.
    - Life Tap - Health cost value
    - Solve issues with Beacon of Light healing not being diminished by healing reduction effects.
    - Fix Blood Barrier not proc'ing out of combat.
    - Fix anti-magic shell not giving runic power in some cases
    - Lighting Bolt + Chain Lightning remove Maelstrom Weapon spell mod after cast
    - Proc trinket ICD on equip + remove aura on unequip.
    - Tweak Totem placement spacing
    - Reset rune cooldown on player resurrect.
    - Clear combat state when Vanish is used.
    - Fix Brain Freeze procs from Blizzard.
    - Cause Bladestorm to keep aura on weapon swap.
    - DK T10 Bonus 4 - Path of frost and Unbreakable armor.
    - Lifebloom - Fix double bonus taken on final effect
Shadowmeld
  • - Doesn't remove combat anymore when you are in raid or heroic dungeon boss encounter.
    - Removes instantly combat for pvp
    - Instantly interrupts any hostile spells casted against the player, no matter the range or visiblity.
    - Deselect the target only for unfriendly players no matter the range or visibility. Fiendly players will no longer lose the target when it's used.

  • - Reimplemented the Apothecary Trio script.
    - Script Love Boats in Darnassus, Stormwind and Undercity. The only thing what I have not managed to fix is that when players get ejected from boats at end of trip you will just be thrown in water rather than returned to dock, however
Battlegrounds
  • Strand of the Ancients
    • - SotA bombs, as well as demolishers, will only be available once their respective graveyards have been taken. Bombs at the courtyard will only be available once the Yellow Moon Gate has been destroyed.
      - Massive Seaforium Charges will now be destroyed from the player's inventory upon death.
      - Vehicles will no longer be usable after the battleground ends.
    Warsong Gulch
    • - Remove Brutal and Focused Assault when leaving Warsong Gulch.
    Isle of Conquest - NEW
    • - Scripted Generals.
      - Fixed Napalm spell from Flame Turrets not dealing damage.
      - Fixed Airship Cannon spell damage from Horde and Alliance Gunship cannons not dealing damage.
      - Fixed the Quarry and Refinery siege damage buff modifiers.
      - Fixed missing text once gates are destroyed.
      - Fixed combat bug when attacking vehicles.
      - Lesser the issues with the Gunship teleporter.

Core & Mechanics
  • - Resolved the issue where logging in after disconnects and crashes would kick you out of group.
    - Implemented the Random Dungeon Finder feature that allows it to ignore instance locks, ids, binds whatever you call it. Information at viewtopic.php?f=78&t=14745.
    - Initial work on extend instance bind feature.
    - Remove mount auras attained during dungeons. Fixes issue reported at viewtopic.php?f=11&t=14459&p=162799#p162799

Is this subject only to Heroic RDF? I just had a normal RDF using someone's ID and it hadn't been reset, can't tell if this fix is meant to apply to my situation since it doesn't say heroic.
When people think WoW is supposed to be a balanced game.

Heroics only. The bug that doesn't reset normal instance binds has nothing to do with it. For the time being, you need to reset your normal IDs manually before queueing.

Can this be put onto an auto message for people above level 15 and below 80? even if you never did a dungeon that day someoneelse with an ID can screw your queue up

Would like to add that the thekal transition is still a little buggy. If DPS is too high he only spawns the text and doesn't transform, resulting in his death and becoming untargetable (so no loot)

this isnt bugg, this is your fault thats you cant be patient and you re killling him in 5 seconds ...dps in vanilla times was 800-1100 ..so lets say you will pull 18k with burst at start. this wasnt able even in 40 man raids do that damage done in these seconds. So again .. some Old bosses has Dialogue, Transform phazes and if you skip them = boss wont work ... Im not sure if it can be " fixed " somehow without rewriting they mechanism .. so simple take it easy, relax and dont burst

It's nice when even these small bugs gets fixed, because you have lots of people going in ZG for mounts and it gives a different feeling. Before it was: okay I'll just dps down this boss. And all the sudden he changed forms I was like "omg that's so cool". xD Even if it's small it's appreciated at least by me!!! Good job ;D

I'd say that trying is the best one can do in order to higher themselves from the people crying and only complaining. Whilst you try, it doesn't mean it is always going to be the most successful result but I'd like to think that it is still a better choice than standing idle.
