This sounds like fun!! Question though....."Blood Elves must move on foot to the desired location." Does this mean we cannot use the transporter to Undercity or the zepplin to Grom'gol or Orgrimmar?
Also, would love it if the time could be an hour or so earlier....I know this may not be feasible due to different time zones but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask :D

Rules will be explained before the race, including what you can and can't use with regard to teleporters and zeppelins.

Dana is Australian so 1am is quite early for her (6 or 7 am) but if enoough people want it earlier I can set the alarm.

"Dana is Australian so 1am is quite early for her (6 or 7 am)" ah totally reasonable in that case....I hate getting up too early lol.

When will this happen? Do you guys have a date already?

I love these kind of events. Last one I did was Night Elves to Thunder Bluff.
Spoiler:
And I still remember that:
Everyone went Teldrassil → Darkshore → Ashenvale → The Barrens → Mulgore, but I, thinking I was being smarter than everyone else, went through ... → Ashenvale → Stonetalon Mountains → The Barrens → ...
No need to say I was one of the last guys to make it...

Not sure if it's still up for debate but last I heard we were tentatively on for June 3rd.

That's a definite date, only the time was open to change. Two weeks away!

I think ST = Server Time. Server Time is I think GMT+1

Now I am soo confused Contmotore ... GMT +1 = london ... GMT +2 = Paris which matches realm (in-game) time ... I am in Australia and I am "realm" time +8 (GMT +10)... is it just terminology ... realm time is server time?

So when is this on in REALM time (in-game time) please?

Note:
My original question was because the timing had been discussed earlier and I am wondering if it is still 01:00 or has changed.

Cheers all :-)

Ah, yes... Sorry, should be GMT +2 indeed, because it's summer time now.

It was really cool.
I hope more events like this one happen :D
Spoiler:
Starting point: Eversong Woods.
The Goal: The Dark Portal (Blasted Lands).

My route: Eversong Woods → Silvermoon City → (used the orb to teleport to) Undercity → Tirisfal Glades → Lake Lordamere in Alterac → Alterac Mountais (through the Ogre Compound, very bad choice I must say) → Hillsbrad Foothils → Arathi Highlands → Wetlands → Loch Modan → Badlands → (the passage from Kargath to) Searing Gorge → (into the Blackrock Mountain to) Burning Steppes → Redridge Mountains → Duskwood → Deadwind Pass → Swamp of Sorrows → Blasted Lands.

Outcome: I was one of the last guys to make it...
Still worth it anyway, as it was lots of fun. :tick:
