Undercity and the Argent Dawn suffered great losses, but Nathanos' report was certainly grievous and could not be neglected. Answering the call of the Banshee Queen's champion, Lord Tyson Rightfury and his crusaders marched back to the Eastern Plaguelands.

Nathanos was right to be concerned. The necrotic energies emanated from Necrotic Shards deployed by Scourge necropolises. To much of his dismay, the Scourge deployed a Necrotic Shard right at this doorstep!

Looking over the hills by the Marris Stead, a menacing Necrotic Shard gloomed the land with dark energy.

The Argent Dawn gryphon riders managed to airdrop several enchanted runestones atop the Scourge necropolises, allowing them to be tracked. Necropolises tend to deploy Necrotic Shards whenever they go, raising groups of undead around it to protect it.

The Scourge deployed several necropolises in the Light Hope's Chapel vicinity, posing a grievous threat to the Argent Dawn activities in the Eastern Plaguelands. With most of his crusaders wounded and too weakened to fight, Tyson took for himself the mission of dismantling the Scourge's choke point, marching against the Necrotic Shards on his own, bearing only his faith in the Light and his steadfast sword.

As the Scourge attacks intensify, the Argent Dawn has designated Paladins and Initiates to provide Marks of the Dawn to assist our champions against the undead threat.

Further reports indicate increasing undead activity in the lower parts of Kalimdor. It's possible that invasions may outbreak in the Azshara and Tanaris zones at any moment. The Argent Dawn has sent a missive alerting the goblins of Gadgetzan, hopefully they'll be prepared.

Stay alert, champions. The undead never rests, and neither shall those who fight in our cause.

Any further news should be relied as soon as possible.
