You can't RaF during Ironman, so automatically changing rates disqualifies you from the challenge as well.

Would dying to due to server-wide lag spike be considered for resetting?
The whole server froze for a few seconds just now so whoever was in combat surely died.

Hi. Was questing (as Oozer) in Stranglethorn, when kicked out of game. I couldn't log back in for a while, but when I did log on found I died in the meantime... Apparently I was not the only one disconnected from game...
If possible - please reinstate....
I tried to do screenshots, but was unable to upload anything relevant.... >:(

Under normal circumstances, this would not be something allowable, however due to two of you dying to the same spike, I think we will reinstate you both.

In future, when asking for this stuff please put your toon name in the message, it makes it so much easier for me. Grimalkin, I can't work out which toon you want reinstated.

I am sorrry I wasn't clear; I didn't die as a contender so nothing to reinstate for me (Surai can afford to die now, yay!!! xD), but having recently been in the challenge, my heart is still with these guys here. My post was just a question, not a request. (thought I'd clear up as many things as possible since I will be doing this again because I'm insane.)

I know it's still early so decisions don't have to be made yet, but I'm scouting the options for a possible level 80 ironman contender when WOTLK hits. There are 2 questions I'd like to ask regarding that:

1) Will Death Knights be in any way eligible for the challenge? Will we be able to exchange an active level 55 for the right to start a DK? Or will they be out of the game?

2) What's going on with Shadowmeld? Is it "bugged" or intentionally disabled? If there's a good chance that it will become functional in the next year or so, then I'd probably rather wait for it to start the character. But if it's not likely to ever work, then there's no harm in just starting a Troll now and prep it slowly.

Given the challenge is to level a single character to cap without using buffs or items above white quality I do not see how a Death Knight could qualify. They begin their journey with greens equipped, which would be an instant disqualifier.

There have been ongoing bugtracker reports about shadowmeld for a while now. Various fixes have been applied but the issues persist.

There is now a link on the front page to claim your reward.
