Sadly, Elsie the Tauren Shaman has died at level 59. While traveling through the Western Plague Lands, she unwittingly rode past a mound of Hero's Blood, and was bum-rushed by multiple Fallen Heroes. They dismounted her, snap-kicked her into a stun locked state, and beat her to death.

Rest In Peace.
13 Feb 2017 - 23 April 2107

Let it be known that, although Elsie failed the Ironman Challenge at level 59, she continued to walk the Ironman Path with honor and dignity. She followed through with the Ironman rules, wearing only grey/white gear, using no items/elixirs/potions/food to buff, and quested solo until the vanilla level cap of 60. She did not win any awards or mounts, but saw the journey through to the end.

Total play time: 6 Days, 12 hours, 48 minutes.
Final death count: 1.
Elsie retains a place in the heart of all aspiring Ironmen. Her name will be come a byword for accepting difficulty with grace and honour.

So at this point in time (april 25th) is this still possible if I started today? I would think not, right?

Possible to finish before the May 3rd prepatch? Unlikely. Assuming you hit level 60 in 72 hours /played time that would mean you have to put in about 12 hours per day. But, there's still no reason not to start. It took me 27 days (and 4 days /played) to finish the challenge as I varied my pace from doing nothing for a week to doing back to back 12 hour sessions.

If you start now it's very likely you can end up in your 50s by the time TBC hits and the challenge continues as you make your way to 70.

New to the server, why not give it a try :)

Scyle-Shaman-PrimalWoW

just 1 question, seeing as we sometimes have to accept loot to complete a quest, do we just trash it, or can we sell said item?

I logged in and started walking across Desolace up a small incline and just died. The Combat log said that I died because of falling, but I didn't fall. I was just walking.

Ironbitz - level 38
Warlock

I have a screenshot of the combat log if needed.

Braellyn NE hunter died due to lag, but I was only level 9 so I'll just start again

I deleted that character and will be using the same name for my new one. Just thought I'd mention it here in case using the same name causes issues or something
