The server crashed, my character level 58 "Tauros" was dead when the server came back online.

I was following the Bloodthristy Challenge.

Hello,

I was wandering if it is permitted to unlearn your talents with help of class trainer and take others? Like if you leveled as feral druid up to 60, and then want to change to balance or resto or just take different talents in feral tree?

I am requesting a review of my death.

I range pulled two mobs, use a cactus to LOS the caster while I killed one , and ran away to reset the warlock mob and its voidwalker minion. But the minion never reset and killed me. You can see I didn't even try to fight the minion. I was just running. I had a potion too that could have been used, but it should have reset and I had lots of HP so it shouldnt have mattered.

I feel as if it is a bug because the minion should reset when the warlock itself reset. I run an emulator to play WoW on my macbook, so taking screenshots doesn't work well. So I released and ran back to recreate the event and used my phone to take photos (I died again recreating the scene due to a respawn of another mob).

The photos are kind of messy. I would have had more time to make it clearer but the respawn kind of killed me too fast.

you are level 11 so you should just start over. Death review is for rare unfortunate cases for higher level characters.
And yes, those minions (in fact most minions) are not working properly here but this the closest to blizzlike experience we can offer for time being.
Better luck next time and try to avoid spellcaster NPCs especially with minions as they are stronger in general.

I suggest Borean Tundra instead of Howling Fjord. It's safer there

Monkey won't leave me even after distance. This happened to me before in Booty bay as well.. I ran from it but it kept chasing me.. my system had a lag spike and it brought me back a bit closer and I died. I wanted to request my death reversal. Thank you for your time.

Edit: Its for Gorgonz, whatever the decision I'd respect, I thought I'd make an appeal, feels terrible to come this close and miss out.

It's always recommended that you post screenshot of your death with Combat Log. For example in this case we could see that monkey killed you far away from it's original location and would help you claim 'death reset' due to server bug.

Anyway, level 77 is impressive. Don't mess it up now!

Dummy question I cannot see explicitly answered by the guidelines or asked about in this thread:

Weapon Masters. Is learning to wield weapons from a Weapon Master considered to be within challenge guidelines? e.g. my Orc Hunter learning to use FIst Weapons, or Thrown Weapons. Intuition says they should be considered O.K. since it's not a profession; it just opens up a wider weapons pool. That being said, I want to clarify before I accidentally DQ myself from the challenge and need to start up another attempt lol
