Cooldown of the skill Revenge

#1 » Post by alpakturk » 11 Jan 2014 12:33

Hello dear readers, i've posted this topic to ask you something.

My warrior is 61 level. I've played it in Protection talent since yesterday. Yesterday i have purchased Dual Specilization and made Arms my 2nd talent. Then I have organized my Stance bars of my Arms talent and while i was organizing the Defencive Stance (In Arms Talent Defencive Stance!) I ve seen that cooldown of my Revenge is 1 second. I know that my Revenge's cooldown is 5 seconds when im in my Protection Talent. So i tought it is a bit WEARD, why the cooldown DECREASES to 1 second from 5 seconds when i got into my Arms talent ?????????????

As you know we may wear one handed weapon + shield and get into defencive stance in ARMS talent when we need SURVIVING. One of that surviving moments i again got my shield, got into defencive stance and casted my Shield Block [ as you know it gives you %100 chance to block for 9 seconds] and for the NEXT CRAZY 9 SECONDS, i performed my skill REVENGE for 9 TIMES! Because it's cooldown was 1 second. Ofc the opponend died xD

I am not sure is it a normal situation to have a 1 SECOND COOLDOWNED REVENGE.?! and using it many many times with Shield Block. I made a ticket to GM and he said to me it's normal. Waiting for your comments .. ;)

http://wotlk.openwow.com/spell=57823 working as intended.

This is one of the reasons prot is nice for leveling and why in pvp shield block forces melee to gtfo.

So mate, do you mean having a 1 second cooldown Revenge in Arms Talent is normal,?

So there is no bug in performing Revenge every second in Arms talent? Is it all OK with 1 second cooldown revenge in Arms?

Yes, unlike prot, arms has to use all the stances.

From wowwiki:
Revenge is a warrior ability learned at level 30 for those with the Protection specialization. It allows warriors to attack multiple opponents at once and, while in [Defensive Stance], will also generate rage. Dodging or parrying Revenge will reset its cooldown.

Now you just making up shit. First of all, you need the talent to hit another opponent. Revenge COSTS rage. Cooldown of 5 seconds will still have to run out, and not be reset, unless you have talent aforementioned.

Esunna's post was probably updated for MoP, where shit like that generates rage and you get free talent points.
